• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DPS update #2 vent hose request

My understanding it is to help with the fumes. It makes more sense to me to take it forward away form the exhaust, and where the air is cooler than to take it to the rear of the bike.

DPS update #2 vent hose request

The pictures are kinda of hard to see. I will try to explain. The vent hose comes from the top of the Canister, drops down the front of the canister, goes forward to the radiator, then drops down through the hole in the frame. The hose has protective cover over it to prevent heat damage.

    BRP passenger peg extentions

One of my friends that I ride with has these. When we ride we are both very aggressive in the canyons and corners. He does not have an issue. I belive he is even more comfortable with the floor boards.

Would you like to plan a trip to Alaska?

I say just do it. I doesn't matter how well you plan. The very common "AH *#$@" can always happen. Just be adventureous and enjoy the ride. You can deal with whatever happens along the way.

    Another Spyder First

Well, today I did not do much riding. I left Lamar, Colorado, Heading west on US Highway 50; also know as the “Santa Fe Trail”. Slowly the terrain changed for the plains of Colorado into the mountains, and canyons of Colorado. I was just enjoying the ride when I saw a sign that said, “Royal...

    Problem with the front bearing/hub..maybe

This is easiest way to check to see if you have a bad Hub/Bearings. 1. Jack up the Bike 2. Grab the tire at the 12:00 and 6:00 position. Try to wiggle the tire. Work your way aroung the tire a few times. If the is no wiggle you are good. If you have some wiggle, you may have some bad...

Got the lastest and greatest update today..

The new update has nothing to do with the Steering. It is essentially retiming the purge valve on when to purge and when not to purge. The flow from the purge valve goes to the rear cylinder. what it was doind was releasing fumes from the cannaster at the wrong time. Causing the surging and...
