• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Orange multifunction screen

After doing my 600 mile service, I started up the spyder and let it warm up, about 5 minutes so I could recheck the oil level( I initially put in 4 qts) Shut off engine and added 1/2 qt more. Later on I started it back up and the borderline of the multifunction screen was orange. I shut it off...

    2013 spyder steering

I can't believe what I'm reading here, I must have got lucky. I have a 2013 RS-S that handles fantastic, tracks straight as a arrow. I will admit though, that my wife and myself have only got 600 miles on it so far and this is my first time riding a motorcycle and/or spyder on the highway. (My...

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

I will be posting pictures "before and after" soon as my daughter or son in law show me...Probably this weekend. I measured the bolt hole spacing with a tape measure. Top holes, right to left are 3 and 1/4 in.....bottom holes, right to left are 2 and 9/16....Diagonally 3 and 3/4 in. I don't...

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

Ok, got the plastic bottom covers trimmed back a little and got some slack in the wiring.....Looks good!.....Now I will have to get used to sitting in a more upright position, but my wife is going to love it. ;) So now I guess I need to get a higher windshield and probably a Corbon...

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

Looks like I got ahead of myself. I am going to have to trim the left and right hand plastic bottom covers and the wiring on the left side handlebar might be too tight, so I'm going to take off the r/h body panel and see where the wiring goes....Hopefully this afternoon.

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

It fits! I just got the 2013 ST-S handlebar and bolted it in place of the 2013 RS-S handlebar.....Perfect fit. The RS-S plastic center piece (fits around the ignition switch) bolted to the ST-S handlebar, so no problem there. If anybody orders one of these, make sure you get the R/H and L/H...

Belt Guard Rubbing - any thoughts?

Mine rubbed on the belt, so I just notched it out with a pair of sidecutters. Took just enough off to clear the belt and allow full suspension travel....Just a very small amount had to be cut.

    Day Rides Puyallup Wa

My wife took a trip with the RS-S from up above Carbonado to Eatonville about a week ago or so, via South Prairie and Kapowsin. I will see if I can get her to give you a shout next time she heads that way.

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

I haven't seen any reference to the RT adjustable bar in my 2013 service or parts manual...also, I won't know for sure if I can install the 2013 ST-S on my 2013 RS-S untill it finally gets here....Hopefully this week.

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

Also, I might add if the bolt pattern is not the same, someone will probably make a adapter/riser plate, I'm guessing in the not to distant future.

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

Its possible, the 2008-2012 handlebar, bolt on... Near as I can tell with a 4 bolt adapter plate bolted to the upper steering column. Looks like if you took the adapter off, you may be able to bolt the 2013 handlebar center piece directly to the upper steering column,(same way the 2013s are)...

I have a 2011 challenger with the Penstar motor and love it...Its as fast or faster than alot of the old school high performance V8 cars I used to have. I also have a 2012 Jeep jku with the penstar motor, I love it too, but no where near as fast.

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

I can't say for sure, but from what I read about installing after market risers I would say so....I just got done ordering the 2013 ST-S handlebar center section along with all the plastic covers and hardware so I'll be finding out.

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

I know, I have already looked it up....but I need to know if the plastic steering central cover will fit...Looks like I will have to go ahead and order it and hope it works.

    2013 RS-S to ST-S Handlebar switch

I want to switch my RS-S handlebar to the ST-S handlebar. I have talked to BRP and local dealer, they both say they should bolt right on, but they don't know if the plastic center steering cover. (fits in front and below center handlebar and covers ignition switch) will bolt to the bottom of the...
