• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

1330cc Is the First oil change at 600 miles still needed?

Manual says 3000 Miles Manual says 3000 miles. My spyder tech said see me about 1500 miles for my newest, and about 5 to 6000 after. Manual says 9300 miles between oil change, but most don't go that long. I generally have oil change at around 5000 mile intervals. 3000 miles will be fine. Ride...

    Fair trade price

Shop Around There are some very fair dealers out there but you may have to shop around. I received a low quote on a trade, and with another dealer site unseen, received a very favorable quote. Also saved roughly another 1000 on the tax value.

    Parts

NO missing Grill The grill is not missing. It was designed that way on the 2013 and prior models. That is the discharge side of the cooling fan, so as not to have anything go into a grill it was left off to leave a clear exit path.

Considering 2014 used RT Limited - please help

Love my 14 RTL Just flipped over 18000 miles. Completed 3063 of miles this past week. 6000 miles is not bad for a 2014 model. I'm not sure about the price, but don't think its out of line. My 14 RTL has been trouble free. Fixing to do something about the brake squeal, but love it.

    Highway Pegs

Modified Rivco pegs So tech support at Rivco suggested I remove the mount hardware and bolt peg directly to the bracket to get it more in the position I needed. I did. The pictures show the before and after. I don't need the pegs to fold up. Ended up with two additional riding positions...
