• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The name of our construction company is "Peaceful Settings". We build outdoor wooden projects like arbors, pergolas, decks, gazebos, piers and docks. (Anything to provide the customer with a "peaceful setting".) Being a quite kind of guy, my friends have nick-named me "Peaceful Ben"

Help - Oil Pressure Gauge Installation

 Just changed out the stock fuel/temp gauges and installed the digital readout, voltmeter and oil pressure gauges. Since I already had blue neons under the bike, I chose the blue readout for these. (They also come in other colors.) When off, they simply show up black face. These are...

    RT Custom Graphics/Paint

Thanks for the compliment! We discussed the ideas for several weeks before deciding on this theme. We are members of the F.A.I.T.H Riders Ministry at our local church, and we wanted something to carry our beliefs in religion and patriotism. We discussed our thoughts with the paint shop...

    RT Custom Graphics/Paint

:shemademe_smilie:We decided to go with a clear holographic metal flake, followed by a custom paint job - air brushed. We had a few vinyl grapics first. Just didn't want to stay with that look.

    Beware of Some Dealers

:agree:Your preferred dealer should start getting ready for a lot more business. There are several of us (we do talk alot) :chat: that have been using the questionable dealer and will be switching over to your dealer. Wish it wasn't so, but lack of communication when a problem arises, and made...

    Missing chrome ring on gauges

We should all learn lessons as we travel this road of life. :lecturef_smilie: My lesson here was to inspect my Spyder thoroughly everytime it comes back from the dealer. I should have caught that sooner.:banghead:

    Missing chrome ring on gauges

"The case of the missing ring" Mystery has been solved. Met with my dealer this morning. :chat: When I had the Spyder in for a service, the dealer replaced a faulty fuel gauge (covered under a service bulletin) on my 2010 RT A/C, (which came with the black ring gauges) with a chrome ring...

    Where is the Plexus ???

Got lucky.... Went on line and saw the $20 per can price and flipped. :yikes: I had just paid around $8 at the dealer last year. Took a ride to the dealer (good excuse to get out of the house) and found they still had it for $8. Bought the remaining four cans. Now, I'm set for a...

    Nature and Traveling

:doorag: Being a contractor that works outside all the time, I have tried a lot of weather apps. A fellow contractor told me that "My-Cast" is the best one out there, for "up to the minute" radar changes.(a one time charge of $3.99 gets you the full version)...

    Missing chrome ring on gauges

Thanks Scotty! :clap:You seem to know quite a bit about these issues. Appreciate your input. Do you know how long the warranty is on something like that? I checked my papers today and found that we bought the Spyder on May 25, 2010. That means that today, May 24th is the last day for...

    Missing chrome ring on gauges

Just to clarify: The ring in question, is one that came on the Spyder from the factory. I installed all the new 2011 chrome accessories on the 2010 bike, but not that ring. The gauge ring did not have to be removed for any reason, while installing the chrome accessories, or when the panels were...

    Missing chrome ring on gauges

Not sure when and if that gauge would have been removed. It doesn't come off/out to add chrome handlebars. The chrome ring is just a cover over the black plastic.

    Missing chrome ring on gauges

:agree:Shouldn't make a difference on warranty. I bought all the chrome from a different dealer and installed it all myself. Hmmm.....
