• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Vibe Dampening Grips

Search Amazon for this: Grab On Grips Grip Cover - Fits From 1.25in. to 1.45in. OD - 5in.L MC402 You can find them for about $9 delivered. They are about 1/2" longer than we need for our bikes, but they are simple to cut down to size with regular scissors or a utility knife. Spray inside...

Grip puppies did it for me on my 2012 RS. Was experiencing the same tingling, but not after adding the GP sleeves.

    Bajaron Sway bar on RSS

I own a 2012 RS SM5 and didn't notice a big difference in handling after I installed Ron's bar. I did remove the frunk to install it (is easy to remove, so you should't worry about doing it) and found the instructions good and the install simple. Ron was great to deal with too. I just didn't...

    Replacing the grips?

Foam grips There is a slip on grip (called Grab on Grips) I bought on Amazon that works great. I don't have heated grips, but the instructions say it will work with heated grips too. Installation is simple - you just coat inside with hairspray and slip them on. Makes grips larger and cuts...

DFW Spyder events or rides coming up?

North Texas Spyder Riders Group If you haven't done so already, join the NTSRG. They have all the planned events on a calendar, plus many other rides that are set up "on the fly". Just had a ride and cookout last weekend and most originate in the mid cities/FT Worth area.

Interesting experience in San Francisco on Spyder

While in Austin this weekend, I had a woman ask me how long Sypders have been out. When I told her the first model year was 2008, she told me "no, they haven't been out that long because I only saw my first one last year". When I reiterated 2008, she again told me I was wrong and that it...

Spyder RT on Amtrak Auto Train or mortorcycle transport suggestions?

Uship I've used them a number of times for bikes, cars and my spyder. Don't be afraid to post a price you're willing to accept, even if it's much lower than what Uship shows as "average" for the trip (they illustrate this by "likelihood your bid will be accepted" -- just forget the low...
