• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Best Jack For Spyder

Sears other jack Probably the same one my wife pointed out to me today, but I don't have the ad at hand. It appeared to be very similar to the Harbor Freight jack, with larger rear wheels and a little different handle construction. I have seen a jack exactly like the HF in an Orscheln store...

My Wife does not like riding on the Spyder!

One more suggestion When I first sat on the back seat i was sure it was going to be too small, compared to the GW seat. And the RT Limited custom seat is even an inch or so shorter, so I worried about it again. At first she didn't like the edges on the side of the seat, but now does, and has...

    Best Jack For Spyder

My Harbor Freight is OK My Harbor Freight is OK, but if I did more service I would probably go the extra $100 for the Sears. The HF raises the Spyder easily enough, but, like some others have reported, drops pretty fast, even using proper technique. Not real stable when it's up high, but...

Pit Bull Grand opening was so fun!

Nice place, I'll be back Was in Springfield late Saturday afternoon for a gymnastics meet, and it was convenient to stop in for a few minutes as we went down Glenstone. Just made a quick tour around the place with wife, son, daugher-in-law and grandsons in tow. Didn't do any socializing or...

    RT-622 Net System Thoughts?

More Trailer Questions Haven't got my trailer yet, just wondering: 1. What is optimal hitch weight, & how do you test it? 2. What is advantage of "kick stand"--just so you don't have to lift trailer by tongue? 3. Are those BRP plastic cargo chocks any good--for $35 or whatever? 4. Any...

    spyder stuck in the snow!

I had read about others riding in the snow, so I thought, "Why not?" There was about 4 inches of soft, wet snow in front of my garage, and I backed out into it. I got about 6 feet and the rear tire started spinning. Thought I was not going to get back in. Waiting for the driveway to clear.

Lurker in Texas sticking his head up.

Had ridden one of the first ones back in early 2010. Found it uncomfortable and twitchey. So we ignored it. Me too, but I came back in 2012 & tried again. Akspyderman says "Regarding Twitchy: If you are coming off two wheels, there is a learning curve on piloting a spyder. Most that are new...

    Trunk luggage

Pack the frunk & see I agree. I doubt you will find another bag that will fit the frunk this well, and therefore probably can't pack as efficiently. Mine came with the RT, and I probably would not have bought it otherwise due to cost, but I'm glad I've got it now. Fits great, has wheels to...

    Rear Tire Wear

Lower pressure OK? I had the same experience as others with middle wear early, I thought because I was running high pressure at 30 (Well, 38 for a while after I used Lamonster's tire gauge at the BBQ!). I don't ride fast, but do carry a passenger often. I wondered about lowering it for a...

Lawn Care & Dog Grooming? Right here since 2003! Lawn care & dog grooming? I thought you were a mechanic (sorry, technician). I thought I wanted one of those sway bars, but now I'm not so sure ... they might just be spare parts off your old riding mowers.

    Need Helmet defogger...

Pinloc I like the Pinloc also, but they came on my Nolan & Shoei helmets, so I don't have any experience in buying or installing one on an existing shield. I have had trouble getting them adjusted tight against the shield after a while, especially around the bottom center, and I get...

    Gas Cap

"GAZ" cap Mine came today, but I haven't opened it. The shipping label says "Gaz Cap"--do you think they sent me the right one? Will a French-Canadian cap fit my US model? Or is there a French additive I can put in my gas to make it work?

Older Motorcyclists More Likely To Be Severely Injured In Crashes

I guess there's nothing too surprising in all those stats. At least we're less likely to just fall over. Now, if we had seat belts we wouldn't fall off, either!
