• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Heli bars vs Nomagic risers

Lamont - just an observation on your risers. I notice the cables route on the driver side of the riser where mine and others route on the other side. Are your risers more upright that pulled back? Within reason I suppose there is no absolute correct way to run the cables given the...

    Nice 91 octane Ride

We be thinking similar, but as ofthers have mentioned - perhaps yourself - this overall post recall update is very complicated. One thing I wonder if retarding timing could contribute to higher operating temps, lower temps, or no effect? Has anyone who has gone to above 87 seen a change in...

    Lost my best friend

I fell your pain with empathy. This is not the place for me to tell the full story of Jade - our 11 year old German Shepherd solid black female who passed on Sunday, April 1 (NOT a joke) two years ago. Fine on Friday, sick on Saturday, and gone on Sunday from hermangio sarcoma - blood cancer...

    Exhaust springs

Thanks - and offhand how about length. I actually found some on - for example - Dennis Kirk - so if tab-to-tab I have 3" do I need a 3" spring, or 2.5", etc you get the picture. Wondering if the advertised spring length is "at rest" or "under load". Pete

I admit I am being lazy...;) Where can I buy exhaust springs - you know the springs that retain joints, slip ons, etc? Thanks, Pete

92 degrees, 103 degree heat index = nasty running Spyder..

When I had my dual exhaust done about a month ago by a local (small) shop but a PC dealer we were mulling over JB, O2 elim, and PC. Ended up using Ken's O2 elim - just fine but have not had the flash done yet. Anyway...the shop called DynoJet and they sadi they were not going to work on a PC...

    Quick and Painless!

Ken has said that TBR bought one of his O2 sensors and then returned it after a while for a refund. Who knows....:dontknow:

is the 1" riser worth buying

I have to agree...well I don't have to, but I do. :agree: Put my 3" on last weekend (had the 1"). AMAZING...almost makes me want to retake an ole Newtonian Physics course. :yikes: Pete

    ISCI Feedback

Darrell, The brake pedal pics look the same to me, but I believe ya :D Can the shifter extension can be adjusted to eliminate any need to lift the entire left foot off the board to engage the shift peg downward while still being able to slip the foot under the peg? I know - depends on boot...

    ISCI Feedback

Got the dual exhaust done - WOW. Put the ESI 3" risers on (I had the 1" BRP) and all I can say is WOW WOW. Now it's time for floorboards and passenger "footrest" relocation and hopefully WOW WOW WOW. I know about the cost of the ISCI stuff but I also know about the quality so that's not part...

    Shifter question

You can access where the shifter arm attaches to the shifter shaft - behind the tupperware. I cannot find past posts, but the shifter arm hole is splined to "compress" via a bolt the the splined shifter shaft. I do not believe the spline is keyed. Here's a radical example of re-positioning...

    Spyder running bad (Confused)

Not stating it as fact, but it is believed that disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes or so clears the Block Learn Tables which may be the same tables you refer to as being updated constantly. If so then it might logically follow - but still speculation - that clearing the tables permits a...

    Spyder running bad (Confused)

Thanks for being one of the pioneers in this recall-update. As someone with a high flow air filer (not the Race Air Flow) and high-flow aftermarket exhaust - with Evoluzione's O2 elim - I have a keen interest in this. Here's my recollection/understanding of what Ken of Evoluzione has generally...

    3" or 4"

My 3" black anodized ESI risers (I have the 1" BRP riser) arrived today..ordered them last Sunday. That in and of itself is pretty amazing and the quality of the pieces is top notch. It was VERY DIFFICULT but I decoded the double super secret instructions inside which state that if I leave the...

    oil leak

If you are sure it's from the airbox then it's from the crankcase through the rubber vent hose. Fix is to clean up the inside of the airbox and the vent a different way as discussed here: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11842 Valve cover (gaskets) can be another source...

    another fried spyder!!!!!!!!!!!

It isn't just here. I think it's the "economy" jobs, etc. Seriously, even the discourse in the media - main stream or otherwise - is pretty strained. Don't get me started on road courtesy - or lack thereof - realizing I do live in Southeast Florida. Something's gonna pop. I am not a doomer...
