• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Wrapped my Spyder

Wow! Looks like a completely different Spyder! If Janet & I ever decide to wrap ours, we'll be calling;) I'm sure I'd be in the same boat, too impatient and in too much hurry...have to talk Janet into this...:roflblack:

    Where will you put a...

:agree: I work mostly at home, but need to go in every couple weeks for a day, and always put my laptop in the frunk. 220 mile round trip commute. Isn't so bad now, but when I started this gig, it was 1100 miles/week with daily roundtrip run for several months. :yikes: Never had a problem with...

    Spyder Sightings

We met a White RT northbound on Hwy 273 between Weston and Platte City, MO on Saturday night a little after 9PM. I think we've seen this one tooling around Kansas City northland once or twice. Hope you're on the forum!:welcome:

    RT Front Suspension

I'm over in KC, and ride Hwy 36 from St. Joe to Marysville, and I29 from KC to Rock Port on an irregular basis. With a 2011 RT, I had the OEM shocks set on 5, and it was better, but the day and night difference came when I put the Elkas on. I tweak them depending on whether it's a one-up or...

    RT622 Trailer Harness Plug

I've done the same thing, and after some digging online I found this outfit. Lots more reasonable than a new harness, even with the extra expense of buying all the individual pins and all. Will be ordering mine in the next day or two...just haven't gotten to it, yet...

    Purchase Pending on New Spyder....Questions

We bought our 2011 RT last fall used, but with only 622 miles on the clock. (Evidently he decided he wanted something else.) Initial service at 600 miles was done before he traded it, the receipt was in the trunk, and I turned over 8200 miles a couple days ago...with no hiccups at all!

    MOGANG RYDE

Much as we like to ryde, 4+ hrs to Cuba, then down to the Lake, then back to Cuba and another 4+ hrs home would put us somewhere into Sunday!:yikes: But we'd probably be able to manage to meet up with everyone if we had an idea where you might hang out at the Lake for the afternoon!! :2thumbs:

Newbie & Questions for MO riders

We got our RT last October, and I went and got my permit right away...just a written test. I used to have a motorcycle endorsement, but let it lapse after several years of not having a bike at all. I took the drivers test on the Spyder, and the State Trooper said it was the first one he'd...

Post here if you have over 5000 miles, not kilometers on your Spyder

7400+ and probably adding 500-600 miles this weekend visiting family here and there. Ordered up my 5k pin a couple weeks ago after I pulled the pics off the RT we took at Spyderfest. Safe Rydin' to all!

    Vanity Plates

Time Travel I'm a bit of a science fiction fan, our 2011 RT is blue, and makes us feel younger every time we Ryde...so we call it the 'Tardis' after Dr. WHO's time machine/spaceship... and even a custom decal of Dr. Who's time-traveling police box!:D

    Home safe

Soggy, but home! We rolled in around 2:30PM this afternoon after leaving Cuba 9-ish. Fog pretty thick all the way to Jefferson City, and a combination of drizzle/rain/thunderstorms all the way back to Kansas City. We're happy (and a bit soggy) and LOVED our first Spyderfest!:ohyea::ohyea...

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

Ours is the Tardis...Dr. Who's time machine, mainly because it's making us younger. (Or at least feeling that way!):yes: Born to RYDE, forced to work....:gaah:

Leah Says Hello and Thanks you for the support - Getting closer to her Goal!!

My wife works at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, and we're already signed up for the March here..I think it's the first week of May, after Spyderfest! We'll be thinking of you while we're walking here. Then, in September at the KC Speedway, there's a 100mi or so Bikers for Babies...

    Corbin seat with heat ??

I've added a relay-fed 8-circuit secondary fuse panel in the frunk for any/all accessories. It's a 40a relay, with it's own feed from battery for power, and triggered by the delayed-off ignition circuit. Hope that makes sense...typing this in a hurry over lunch! Pete
