• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Outdoor temp gage

this is just one of those "suck it up, and move on" items. mine has NEVER read any degree of accuracy, dead on. it's usally off by 3 to 5 degrees, right out of the stall. ;)

    leaking antifreeze

from a car dealership svc dept perspective... mention Lemon Law or attorney, and you INSTANTLY slam the door on a dealership's willingness to go the EXTRA mile/kilometer to help you resolve something that may NOT be their fault. at that point, many have a tendency to do NO MORE than they...

    Motorcycle Hand Gesture Question

it's just a wave ;) and I wave at ANY biker. no matter what they're on. most of the time... I drop my left hand down, hold out my thumb, index and middle fingers and wave. but... if I'm in twisties or shifting, I raise my index and middle fingers only, so I can keep my hand on the grip. and...

    Update charges

thanks Scott ;) even after we have both explained it a bit... there will still be some confusion on the matter. this might be something MORE dealerships should explain a bit clearer. today's customers are not as uninformed as 20 yrs ago. but frankly there are still some really DENSE ones...

    Biker Friendly Bed & Breakfasts

I'm starting this thread to have you list the Biker Friendly B & B places you've stayed at, and a quick review of it. Chain hotels are some people's first choice, but B & Bs offer some very unique and relaxing experiences for riders to stay, all over the world. And I thought this might be a good...

    Update charges

speaking from a little experience as an H-D warranty clerk, and now working in the auto side of service, it basically plays out as such.... Recalls... are normally a SAFETY issue, and are done FREE OF CHARGE, regardless of age or mileage. Updates... while a vehicle is still under BASIC...
