• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Want To be a RT Rider - any more advise beyond the Do's and Do Not's thread?

:2thumbs: Yup, I agree with this poster. I also came from 2-wheels, and we have to first "unlearn" some things, and then "learn" some new stuff. At first, concentrate on short little rides around town where there is not a lot of traffic. Find yourself an empty parking lot and do a lot of the...

    Problem with F3 seating position

If you get a pair of the "slender" or "boot cut" jeans and then wear a motorcycle boot that is about 12" tall - that combination works really well at keeping the wind from going up the pants leg. ;) Just slide the jeans over the boot top, and it seals pretty good. Since it wasn't that long ago...

    Garage Door Farkle

The least techy of all is my solution. I have not only the :spyder2: but also a Bacchetta Giro 26 that I ride, and generally I always have something on that has a pocket in it. Just put my extra "opener" in a jacket or shirt pocket and when pulling up to the door, press the button from the...

    F3 Saddlebag Solution

Biker's Friend My F3 is only about a week old, but after reading this thread, I was wondering how many have ever considered the Biker's Friend bag. They come in about three different sizes, and when strapped onto the passenger seat - they also provide a nice backrest for the pilot. I have a...

    My baby is home

Yes, each time I get out on it, I'm feeling more comfortable with every mile. The last two days here it has been pretty windy, and although I got used to riding my H-D with it leaned over in the wind - I'm still a little apprehensive with the Spyder. So, today I didn't venture out on the highway...

    My baby is home

I too have just joined the ranks, and my f3 was delivered by the dealer this past Wednesday (and he picked up my trade). Needless to say, coming from the two-wheel world; I've been spending some time trying to "unlearn" all the habits that come with two wheels. Pretty strange feelings at first...
