• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Parking Brake..... no meat left?

You need to loosen the cable and remove the nut attaching the actuating arm. Remove the arm and move it one position on the shaft and reattach the nut and adjust the cable. From the manual. Bryan

Where are all of the Spyder's ID numbers

Arizona law changed a few years back so the lender holds the title until the note is paid off. Probably as a result of altered titles and stolen vehicles, we have a big problem with that here. Bryan

    Ethanol blend gasoline

We've had 10% ethanol year round in Arizona for a long time now. I've never encountered any problems in any engines with it although the more ethanol it has the less energy is available per gallon so the mileage goes down. The new E85 vehicles use cast iron blocks and can run 85% ethanol and my...

    Freak'in Nightmare!

I found that the Craftsman Wrench Sockets #42801 used with a Ratcheting Wrench worked well for this installation since it is a lower profile than just about anything else. Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. Bryan

    Group Riding

i've been on a few rides now with a group of Spyders. Seems the stagered formation still works well and gives you a bit more visivility of the road ahead than single file. Bryan

High Beams On for daytime driving

We got to take a great ride here in the Phoenix area today. Had five Spyders show up and Perfect weather. I know that many of you have not had the opportunity to ride with other Spyders so I have this to share. I noticed in my mirror that one of the Spyders in our group had it's high beams on...

    Helemt

I have a Shoei Multitec and love it with the Blue Ant intercom system. The Axis Yellow is almost a prefect match for the Yellow Spyder. The Biggest thing is how does it fit your head and is it comfortable for long rides. The Shoei fits me perfectly and the ventilation is good even in the Arizona...

    The Blue Ant

I got the BlueAnt system for us and it seems to work pretty well as an bike to bike or rider to passenger intercom. We can talk bike to bike for what I'd say is the advertised range of about 500 feet. May be due to the helmet design but speeds over 60 make communication difficult because of wind...
