• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    aftermarket tire pressures

won't diagnose the front end. Just picked up the 2012 RT-S from the dealership. Had a few things done. Asked when I dropped off if I could have them check the front end as I have a mild shimmy when over 45-50. Had a bad wobble at 42-45 mph but that went away after getting rid of the OEM...

    aftermarket tire pressures

Hey guys, got a quick question. I replaced my OEM front tires with the Bridgestone Potenza's. What tire pressures are others of you running. I find that when running at recommended pressures, the ride is stiff. Also, did you make a shock adjustment after installing them. Thanks for the...

Left wheel wobble Just caught this thread and wanted to ask if anyone experienced this. Have a 2012 RTS and just rolled over 7k miles. Coming home from work noticed vibration and the left tire wobbling back and forth. Right side rolling smoothly. Eased off the throttle and it stopped...

    Electrical conundrum.

You just never know. There you go all. Came into this trying to figure out how to fix an electrical problem and leave with problem solved and the unsavory knowledge that Brits wrap their food in old newspaper. You just never know where a thread can lead or the useful knowledge that can be...

    Electrical conundrum.

Thanks a million! Hey guys. Thanks to your tips and suggestions I was able to narrow down and find the problem. I installed the fender tips kit with the brightsides so that I could use them as a turn signal. It turns out that this device has a very small circuit board built into it and...

    Electrical conundrum.

Update.. hey guys. I just used a voltmeter to measure volts on both sides. I am reading 12 volts on the good side as expected but only 4 volts from the other side. I took the measurement from the oem connector on the control arm. thoughts?:opps:

    Electrical conundrum.

It continues... Thanks for the replies all. I'll try to clarify...The insulation was worn through but the wire strands remained intact. I'm sure there was contact between the two wires though. I repaired the wire and turned on lights. Only the fender tip LED was lit and this was dim...

    Electrical conundrum.

Electrical conundrum With the fuse in place, the rest of the lights operate, and are normal brightness. When I pull the fuse all of the lights go out (bright and dim). Replacing the original fuse relights everything with the original problem continuing. Does anyone know if there is independent...

    Electrical conundrum.

I'm reaching out to all of you Spyder gurus. I had a wire from my brightsides come loose from it's zip tie under the fender and was rubbed by the tire. The insulation was worn through and bare wires (both pos and grnd). I'm sure they were in contact with one another. I now have no light on...

    Does anyone know?

So...I'm removing the seat on my RT to install a Utopia seatback. I remove one of the hinge bolts and it falls into the abyss between the mounting brackets. Has anyone traveled down this path. It appears that short of dismantling the bike, I won't be able to get it out. Any ideas? Im...
