• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    ISCI handbrake and Bumpskid

I removed the handbrake from one bike to put it on my new one. I left the clevis pins on the old bike so the regular brake was still functional. I found replacement parts at Fastenal. These parts (clevis pins and cotter pins) are stainless steel and I recommend replacement with the same. Who...

    I can't get over it~~

Last May my wife and I had wreck when a Buffalo attacked us:yikes:. The Spyder was totalled but as soon as I healed up enough to walk without too much of a limp we went out and bought us a new one. It's amazing how much you miss it when it's gone. Ryding is a form of mental therapy for us, it...

    Will gloves help?

The standard grips on the :spyder2: hurt my hands even when I tried to relax. I've tried Kuryakin grips and the BRP comfort grips. Although I currently have the Kuryakins, the comforts grips with grip buddies were the most comfortable although not as "cool" looking.

Buffalo really are dangerous, yeah really

Yes, we feel very fortunate to have gotten away as lightly as we did. If he had hit us from the side and hooked us with his horns it could have been very bad indeed. Of course the new Spyder has a hindle, I will just endeavor to stay away from the buffalo from here on out. One day we came upon...

Buffalo really are dangerous, yeah really

Nope, these weren't calves, just not full grown 2000 lb. herd bulls with Spyder squishing on their minds. I've been riding through the park for 30 years and although I've been mock charged before, this time our number was up. I do think the hindle had a lot to do with it.

Buffalo really are dangerous, yeah really

Lamonster's thread about coming to Sturgis reminded be that I need to caution all bikers in general about these critters. There are areas in Custer State Park where they congregate and getting past them is life threatening. Ask me how I know this. Well last May, the wife and I were doing an...

    G S SEAT REMOVAL

Hey Coz, I just did mine a couple of weeks ago. I was lucky enough to get a nice comfort seat from one of the members here. I made the job way harder than it needed to be. Tex has it right, just pull the clip and disconnect the piston from the seat side and everything else is a piece of cake.
