• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Delivery checklist ?

Folks, I've searched, but did not come up with what I am looking for? 1. Is there a published pre-delivery check-list that dealers must use? If yes, does anyone have it? Do they give it to you on delivery? If so, can you please publish it? 2. Would be very helpful (knowing the issues we...

Bret BRP messed up my Spyder!!

I don't know squat about Spyder (YET! :) ), but being a computer programmer for many years (30) , I can officially and confidently state that with any software modification there is a REAL possibility of screwing up things that are TOTALLY unrelated to the intended change. I've done it, I've...

    Heading to the East Coast

I am not sure how familiar you are with the area around NY city.. If I may... I would do the following to avoid the traffic, bad roads, pissed off cagers and instead take a more scenic route, which will save you some grief. You probably will save time too: 1. Do not cross the Washington...

I am impressed with Carlo' and BRP's attitude

Sad story... but that is the impression I had from the whole shop... I do hear that Bob is very good! But what's the point if he is the only one? He must be swamped!

I am impressed with Carlo' and BRP's attitude

There is a lot of truth and logic in your reply, ARNTUFUN. I said the same thing to Carlo today about fan base and loosing lots of customers just for the lack of demo bike alone, not to mention the SERVICE. Like you said, the sale is the easy part! Are we still in love with the dealer "after...

I am impressed with Carlo' and BRP's attitude

This is a follow up to the "First non-riding impressions" thread. I decided to create a separate thread for it, just so I could share with you easier. (I am sorry if duplication bothers someone...) After my unpleasant experience at Ledgewood Powersports and posting my initial thread, I have...

Dealer's response Well.. the word cetainly is getting around! That is good, even though it was not my original intention. Noelle, I appreciate your response and I will call you to discuss my interest and future plans. Thank you!

Thanks for chiming in SethO! Way to keep on living! Re: your signature, I am no stranger to injuries, but I always think that it could be much worse... I know, it must be very hard but you do way more than just exist! I am impressed!

Yes, I am definitely looking for another dealer! Hope I find one close enough... would be terrible to go out of state just for a test ride... But, PA is not THAT far :) I thank you all for your input! Will keep you posted!

Wow! This is very upsetting indeed! I am really sorry to hear of such problems, especially on a new machine... This model is exactly what I was looking for. Please keep us posted on the developments! Best of luck with it!

    First non-riding impression

Yes, that is true from the "fire" point.... It's just that sometimes when I am in pain (like back pain or hip pain), I'd rather not get up :) Just don't get into the " you should not be riding, then" please!.... I fight my doctor about that all the time...:2thumbs: In any event -...

    First non-riding impression

Just to set the playing field - I currently own a GL1800 Goldwing. Because of health reasons - seems like the Spyder would be a good choice for me primarily because of the: 1. 3 wheels 2. SE5 3. Electric shield 4. Fun factor I went to the nearest dealer to take a look at one. Well... there...
