• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    crying over spilt milk

From what I see, the 3 cylinder is only in the RT models? I have never enjoyed being a beta tester for any manufacturer, my 998 will do me just fine.

    more on gun rights

I also went off half-cocked on that last response, didn't read your words well before opening fire....my apologies on that. I am passionate on gun rights, that is for certain. The federal government sees no upside to enforcing the terms of the second amendment in respect to the states...

    more on gun rights

Weird, all this time I have been exercising my right without any hassles, while you think you are being responsible by hiding your beliefs. Me, with long hair and a beard! Of course, I am also showing people that it is legal to carry a firearm, you are trying to comfort them (falsely) that they...

    more on gun rights

Even if open carry required a permit, the act of doing it does not equate to an officer needing to stop you to "assure himself" that you are legal. Absent suspicion a crime is being committed, the officer is supposed to consider you to be a law abiding citizen. Rights aren't privileges, yet...

    more on gun rights

If you aren't doing anything suspicious, you are not supposed to be harassed by police. Since carrying a firearm openly is perfectly legal, the mere presence of a firearm is not sufficient reason to suspect someone of criminal activity. Open carry is not "suspicious", it is perfectly legal.

    more on gun rights

On the contrary, it is those who have pandered to the fears of others who have already compromised too many of our rights away. Neville Chamberlain is a hero to those people. He compromised, and showed how it is always a losing proposition. In any compromise, you lose something, and then they...

    more on gun rights

Yet what you are saying makes no sense. If you don't use a right, you lose it. Your idea is to pretend we don't have guns, so they can help eradicate the right to bear them. If someone "felt threatened" by seeing a gun legally carried, that is their problem. In Michigan, a liberal democrat...

    more on gun rights

I disagree with your opinion on open carry, both stances do have good points. That said, the rest of your commentary is excellent. Federal laws do apply regarding places where one cannot carry as well, and schools are one of those places. Granted some states refuse to abide federal...

    more on gun rights

What part was irresponsible? I open carry regularly, even shopping for home improvement supplies. As a result I am aware of the weapons of choice of quite a few of the salespeople at the local Lowe's. Was it just the local Starbuck's here that publicized their support for people open...

    more on gun rights

The scary part isn't the non-gun people who are fearful, it is the Fudd's who will proudly declare their support for the 2d Amendment, and then tell you that nobody needs to openly (or concealed) carry a weapon in public.

    rumbling exhaust?

I didn't go quite that extreme, but I definitely got loud and throaty. Ebay 100 dollar special. I did fab up a muffler clamp and piece of 1/8" flat stock as a support, though it didn't really need it.

    Rights gone too far ??

Pretty simple....."shall not be infringed". If and when, a blind person, or any person, does something illegal with their weapon, hold them liable. Until that time, no one has a right to decide what they are capable of, or to posit "what ifs" in order to deny them their rights.
