• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:agree: Buy both, and install them at the same time, best things you can add to your :spyder2:.

    Revisiting front end wobble

If the tire/wheel assembly that seems to be the source of the problem has a lot of weights on it, breaking the beads and rotating the tire 180 degrees around the rim to see if it balances better is a good "check" for this situation.

    Revisiting front end wobble

One thing I haven't heard mentioned here regarding the tire rotations is how carefully the tires were remounted. Elsewhere on the forum here, I know the eccentricity (out of roundness) of the tires and wheels was addressed. It is quite possible this tire/wheel relationship is being neglected...

    Ner A Car motorcycle

Can't recall where, but I saw a "steampunk" motorcycle concept the other day, it looks to have borrowed a lot of its look from that vehicle.

    Mixing Different End Links...

He needs two wrenches, or a wrench and a socket....both in 13mm. An 8 mm socket or nut driver would be helpful too, to pull off the plastic a-arm cover.

    Mixing Different End Links...

I don't see what the harm could be. Even if they are slightly different in overall center to center length all that would do is load the bar slightly, attempting to induce a slight lean. Couldn't be enough to be noticed at all. From what I could see, the length was the same anyways.

    Bars & Links Update

AWRIGHT!!! Despite a comedy of errors, I now have what feels like a different trike. Silver grey 2012 RT-S with 1500 miles on it. First my email ended it up in cyber-limbo, then a 2013 bar was shipped by mistake, but with the new links. After emailing Ron the right bar was in my mailbox the...

I'm ashamed to admit this; I forgot!

If you really do know what transpired, it doesn't show. I never stated you didn't know history, I meant DETAILS. I never mentioned anti-war. It seems the Japanese were warned, often, that they put their lives at risk remaining in certain cities. Where you grew up has little to do with your...

I'm ashamed to admit this; I forgot!

I would say you missed a lot. You are rationalizing things that you cannot equate similarly since you are living in a time and technological era far removed from the events you are considering. The events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not entered into haphazardly, plenty of warning was given...

    Fire & BRP

So would a small volume outfit like Rolls-Royce also get a pass? I think service should not relate to company size, but companies which ignore issues rarely grow large and successful.

rear tire size 225/50/15 or 215/60/16 or?

GO ahead, let him try....I don't see it hurting anything. No way you could get it to seat and take air anyways.

rear tire size 225/50/15 or 215/60/16 or?

Its the rear tire. Spun it up on the dirt on our apron, was barely moving forward and speedo read 20 mph

rear tire size 225/50/15 or 215/60/16 or?

All you need is someone with an SM5 to pop the clutch and watch the speedo while the tire spins, or an se5 on some slick pavement.

rear tire size 225/50/15 or 215/60/16 or?

I imagine changing all three tires at once with a similar change in diameters would negate any possible nanny problems.

License Department Of Public Safty DPS

Michigan has a new "trike" endorsement, and testing specific to that endorsement. The standard cycle (2 wheel) endorsement will allow trike operation, but a trike endorsement does not cover 2-wheeled operation.

    Floorboards

I do wish there was more commentary on the various boards available. The seal boards sound nice, and sturdy. The use of automotive edging is something I would like to see closer before purchasing, however. Web-boards look great, but some of the thin areas on the web around the pedal and...

Limp mode = close to death encounter

On older European mopeds the ignition was routed through the brake light...if your brake light was burned out the engine quit whenever you stopped, and would miss (no spark) if you were moving and used the brakes to slow down. It was a reminder to fix the brake light.
