• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has Anyone Had Sales Or Service Issues With Dealerships In Iowa,Minnesota & Wisconsin

:agree: I don't have one and I suppose it depends on how cold of weather you will ryde. At about 40 I had to quit but not due to seat temp. You are very well protected from the wind on an RT. What I read on this site about Corbins sounds very good.

    Octane Reqirements

Being in Iowa it seems only BP offers high enough octane. You will notice the difference.

Has Anyone Had Sales Or Service Issues With Dealerships In Iowa,Minnesota & Wisconsin

I understand. My last long ride of the season there were 13 Harleys, a Honda and my Spyder up to Gays Mills. Everyone had a lot of questions and were very complimentary of the machine. If they are truly friends, they won't care what you ryde and will probably be a little envious of the...

Has Anyone Had Sales Or Service Issues With Dealerships In Iowa,Minnesota & Wisconsin

Agreed, you have a ways to travel. I'm just not familiar with any other dealerships. Not aware of any clubs but hopefully We can find a reason to get something going. NE Iowa is a great place to ride, lived in West Union for a very short period of time. If you get your bike we should take a...

Has Anyone Had Sales Or Service Issues With Dealerships In Iowa,Minnesota & Wisconsin

Very strange deal. At 86 miles the cam chain let loose. Had it three days. Not happy to understate the issue. BRP said that chain had to be defective out of the factory and that in their experience catastophic failures tended to happen in the first 100 miles and are extremely rare. Metro...

Has Anyone Had Sales Or Service Issues With Dealerships In Iowa,Minnesota & Wisconsin

I had some very good service recovery from Metro Harley in Cedar Rapids when my new 2012 RT blew up. (fluke deal) It may be further than you want to drive but if not, thought I would mention that they have done very well for me.

Difference between Sena SMH5 and SMH10?

I agree with Ron's assessment. I bought the SMH10's and love them. I did research them online before buying and while I cannot find it right now I remember some reviews comparing the two sets and some people complaining that they did not get more than 5 hrs out of the other set after a while...

    Sena- intercom's

:agree: The key is to get the speaker for each side positioned directly over the ear canal so the sound is crisp. Also be sure to mount far enough forward on the left so you can put the mic high enough behind the face shield to minimize wind noise. There is a plastic cover to put over the...

    Questions---2012 RT-S SE5

:agree:No question about it, the quality of the dealership can dictate the quality of your Spyder experience. I fit a full face helmet with Sena Bluetooth attached in the frunk along with my wife's 3/4 with her bluetooth attached Senas. Spent some time playing with the configuration until it...

Front Shock Settings on 2012 RT-S Limited

I adjusted mine to 5 on the front and almost all the way up on the rear when riding two up. Going to 5 on the front made it handle like a new bike. Way better.

I bought mine September of this year and it just showed up a couple of weeks ago. I think I signed up on BRP's site prior to getting it so maybe that is what you have to do first? Not sure....:dontknow::dontknow:
