• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Revisiting front end wobble

I have the same problem on my 2012 RT. The dealer says I don't have a problem but 50% of the time in the 41 to 44 mph range (usually 3rd gear) I get front end wobble. Very aggravating :gaah:. It really seems odd that most of us are experiencing this in the same mph range. Please keep us...

    Air Deflectors

Thanks for all the information, I will have to decide which deflectors to go with. Sounds like the air wings are very popular.

Where do you display your patches?

Most of the riders that I know also choose to sew them on a vest. That way you can wear the vest over a coat (jacket) in the winter or simply over a light shirt in the summer. Vests are typically denim, leather or other material.

    Air Deflectors

It is getting hot in New Mexico and I want to ride as much as possible. I am interested in air deflectors to help keep engine heat off and try to stay as cool as possible. What do you recommend for air deflection to help cool the driver ( I rarely ride with a passenger)? I see information on...

Any thoughts on the recently announced TomTom Rider 5 Motorcycle GPS?

I think I have owned at least 10 Garmins (hand them down to my boys when I upgrade) and I have been happy with all of them. Have had a couple of problems but Garmin fixed them under warranty. It would be hard to convert me.

600 Mile service for Sypder RSS SE5 model

If you have some mech. abilities and the time an oil change is not difficult to do, I would allow 2 to 3 hrs. for a first timer. I think you will have to get the parts (filters, O rings etc. ) at your dealer. I think the dealers are the only place you can get the new longer filter for the SE5...

    Can Am Spider

I bought my 2012 :spyder2: RT Limited in August 2012 and so far have 5,400 mostly trouble free miles. I have a small issue with front end wobble between 40 mph and 43 mph that is probably due to tire balance or wear, haven't figured it out. I plan on doing most of my own maintenance, mainly...
