• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    belt question

My Spyder has always had a faint low speed whine, I assumed it was the transmission. I had the opportunity to ride another Spyder Saturday and it had no whine. When I look at the front sprocket, the belt is tight against the flange. In fact, there is not enough room for a thin sheet of paper...

    12 V power outlet

I didn't want to cut a hole in the body as I'm only going to use the outlet for my TomTom. I just removed the yellow side panel with thumb screws, and the black panel that houses the fog lights. This gave me a clear shot to snip the zip tie and plug in the GPS. The whole thing took 15 minutes...

    12 V power outlet

I'd like to add a 12V outlet to my Spyder. My question is, where do I hook up? Do I have to go to the back of the fuse block or are there wires terminated somewhere that are connected to the two empty fuse slots? If I have to go directly to the fuse block, how do the wires connect to the block...

    Got the Corbin Seat Mounted!!!

My money no good? I'm glad you received your seat and got it mounted so quickly. I'm very interested in how comfortable you find it. I'm also a little irked at Corbin. I ordered my Corbin seat with one backrest on June the 18th but did not question the delay. I was told to expect a 4-5 week...

    alabama riders

I'm near Gulf Shores and there's at least one other Spyder here as well. How many other Spyder owners are in the southern part of the state? My wife has relatives in Birmingham but I'm not sure even a trip on the Spyder is worth having to stay with them..... a trip to Birmingham.

    More Brake Woes

When mine begin to squeal, I do a panic stop from about 50 MPH and they're quiet for a week.

    Corbin seat

I love my Spyder but really dislike the stock seat. I ordered the http://www.corbin.com/can-am/casr.shtml Corbin seat with one backrest. While I wait the 4-5 weeks to receive it (second guessing the purchase of a $725.00 seat), does anyone else have this seat and do you like it?

Ohio Dealer Blowing Smoke To Make Sell

After reading these forums, I guess that I was very lucky. I placed a deposit on Friday May the 23rd and picked up my yellow spider up the following Saturday May the 31st. The dealer in Gulf Shores Alabama doesn't seem to have any trouble getting these units as there were 8 or 9 of them ready to...
