There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry, I haven't been on much. I will probably not be on the site much this summer and it looks like I will not be able to go on any rides due to steering issues. I am distracting myself by doing other things (installing a pool). Maybe they'll come up with a solution to the steering problem... -
Steering problems still and now an oil leak
Well, I took the bike in. The steering is still messed up. It pulls to the left on it's own randomly like it just gets an itch to go left all of a sudden and I have to pull the handle bars the other way until I hear a click then it is fine for awhile and I again am in charge of the steering...- Amanda B

Indiana riders going to Chicago
Due to rain I still haven't been able to get my Spyder in so I'm out for sure. That's okay though I'm not too keen on how people drive in Chicago! I hope you have a wonderful time and post some pictures!! -
Are we ALL old folks riding Spyders?
Well, I'm 34. I've noticed this myself. I think the price tag is the problem, many people my age can't afford it given they have houses to pay for and children to raise. I know lots of people my age or younger that want one, they just can't do it.- Amanda B

Another Smugglers Trunk Question
You still have to keep that part plugged in and just place it in the tail area. I got my trunk in about two weeks, I was very surprised because I was told it usually takes 4-6 weeks.- Amanda B

Lost Highway pegs, now replacing them

spyder pegs
I prefer the ESI one's myself they are beefy and seem very well made. I didn't have the widow pegs long enough to know about the rusting but I liked the rubber pads on them. I did not like the stupid spike thing that became loose, and wasn't even sure what it was there for. I didn't even know... -

The Webbing in the vent is from Kewl Metal, which you can find on the home page of this site. I'm not sure which pegs you are looking at. A lot of people had the Kuryakyn widow pegs which you can find at Custom Dynamics or Kewl Metal. I used to have those, but lost one and it got damaged... -

No other option They refuse to make an appointment, I've asked several times. They get more money when they do the regular oil changes and stuff because they guarantee it will be done that day and work on that non-stop (I'm guessing they make more money on the quick oil changes and stuff)...- Amanda B

I've been second guessing myself. It happened again over the weekend though. Its strange because it always seems to happen when I'm going 30-35 mph. Taking it in soon.
