• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    what would you suggest...

Before I share that information I am going to talk to the management tomorrow and find out whats going on. Sometimes the issue is a simple lack of communication and I wouldn't want to give the impression that they are an inferior dealer...at least not without a legitimate complaint that has been...

    what would you suggest...

I agree. The brakes were fine before they changed the rear pads. Now they tell me the Master Cylinder "should" be available for shipping on the 17th then a few days to get here from Canada...then another day to install. :sour: IMO bleeding the brakes (which I had expected them to do) should...

There was a stone caught in the belt...needed replaced. Thanks for the input everyone...figured there must have been at least a few people who have dealt with similar issues. My dealer has been pretty good thus far and I really want to continue to have a good relationship.

    what would you suggest...

Yeah, thats what I was considering but I am a bit hesitant because I figure I would need to stay on the dealers good side in case I have future issues and need them to back me with BRP... Thank you for the input B.C., I am definitely reconsidering my approach.

A couple weeks ago I took the spyder in for 6000 service, belt change and rear brake pads. a couple days later I take it back because the brakes are spongy and its throwing an engine code. The tell me a week and a half ago.."you need a new master cylinder (which was fine before they changed...

    RT Shocks or Sway Bar?

Wolf, I dont know if your considering putting an air shock in the rear but the Kewlmetal version dramatically stiffens the ride. I had my front shocks maxed out as well and have since brought them down two clicks to try and soften things up. I will say this, though the rear suspension is now too...

    Communication system????

I went ahead and purchased the Q2 multiset and they have worked out nearly perfect. My only complaint is that the headset is mono rather than stereo so it will not work with my ipod touch. Still, it was an excellent purchase and suits our needs well. Thanks again for all the help and I was...

    3rd Generation Brake pads??

My spyder is in the shop again after a rear brake replacement. They were dragging excessively in forward and reverse. They were also pretty spongy and required pumping before a stop. Today the tech told me he believes there is a 3rd generation of pads with different clips etc.that he is going...

Something to consider with air ride...belt tension

Took the spyder into the shop today, the engine light was not related to the belt tension, the code had something to do with a clutch sensor.:dontknow:

    Air suspension?

Yup, but its actually the other way around....lowering the bike decreases the belt tension.
