• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder RT

I use the BRP half cover and it is just great. Keeps of the dust, the heat but most of all the people that think it’s okay to sit on you bike. Good especially for the dew on your seat the next morning. And very easy to roll up and stash away on the Spyder SilverFox

    Bike wont lock any longer

Is it really worth it? I find the amount of force you have to exert to get the wheels all the way left or right might be putting a lot of stress on something down in there. Connections, cables, braces and whatever. Maybe even throw off your DPS sensor. I don’t keep anything important in there...

Battery tender connection-where the heck is it?

There is a big difference between a tender (maintainer) and a trickle charger no matter how small the amperage. Don’t leave a trickle charger plugged in all the time. A tender or maintainer can stay plugged indefinitely. It only works when the battery needs it. SilverFox

More dumb questions from a newbie ....

gerald37 you really don’t know what a battery tender’s purpose is do you. Plug in the tender and walk away. It will only come on when the battery needs to be recharged. And then it shuts off,,,, completely. Every battery known to mankind looses power when just sitting. You’re using your tender...

    Battery life

0.75amps is plenty. It has to be a “tender” or “maintainer”. A trickle charger will boil your battery over. It will destroy it. The maintainer will shut right off when fully charged and will cycle on and off when the battery needs it to replenish. Your battery will be at peak all the time...

More dumb questions from a newbie ....

Plug the battery tender in all the time. It cost practically pennies to do so and what if it just happens that you should not use your Spyder for longer than you expected. Are you going to start keeping track of how long you haven’t ridden just to make sure the battery has enough power. What if...
