• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Seat release tool

BRP paid lots of people big bucks to engineer this machine. There is more signs of intelligence on this forum than anywhere else! Love this idea. I’ll be working on this tomorrow. Thanks for posting!

What about Riders 1st motorcycle being a Spyder?

I’ve been ryding motorcycles of all kinds since the mid sixties. Motocross, enduros, street bikes, big ones and small ones. I even raced motocross’s. Rode a 1949 Indian with “suicide shift”. No accidents. Not even a speeding ticket. Insurance asked me if I had a riders’ course. I said no. It...

    New Owner

Welcome aboard jabarger1. Nice machine for sure. My wife and I bought an identical unit in the fall of 2010. They had to be preordered way ahead of time just like they did with the 10th anniversary models. That is the first year of the LTD. They only came in pearl white. Do you happen to know...

What is a Spider, Where are they all?

All jokes, kidding, spell-check or whatever else might cross your mind, aside, it is “Spyder” and it has nothing to do with insects or whatever. A lot of car companies have a “Spyder” model. It’s in relation with being without a top and sporty. I love my Spyder! Now here comes the swarm...

Anyone tried a Vision Pull behind trailer? Any comments?

I pull an RT622 trailer and absolutely love it but,,, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this one. Really nice rig. I like it better than the BRP freedom trailer. SilverFox

    Adding / Checking Coolant

Thanks for posting Snowbelt Spyder! I did not know about the “burp” but every year when I do my complete check up and after checking coolant canister area, I noticed that after I opened the canister cap I always get the burp and got a little bit worried as to what it was. Now I know. Thanks a...

Spider life Thanks a whole bunch Spider-Man! I enjoy this site the most. No arguing, no bashing, just plain good reading. Just finished reading about the slingshot. Makes sense to me. 1st '13 Can-Am Spyder RTL Oil Report (for me)

DGoeble, your oil changes intervals could be at 7500 kl if your Spyder was equipped with the new bigger oil filter and casing. There should be a sticker on your oil pan ( very easy to see if it has been done.) The original interval was 5000 kl but at one point BRP came out with a bigger and...

** 2017 DAYTONA F3-S (SE) NEEDS MORE LOW-END POWER - BEST WAY FOR REAL RESULTS?? **

TRLBLZER, I'm not that techky but I'm almost certain that a higher inflated tire would definitely give you less traction therefore getting you closer to what you want to achieve. Just saying. Without adjusting anything else except maybe your rear suspension only. Good luck! SilverFox
