• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Winter Storage - stabilizer question

Hello everyone. I am interested in adding Sta-bil stabilizer to the gas tank of my RS to store it for the winter. Have two questions: 1. Has anyone ever used this product? 2. How many ounces do I add to the full tank of the RS model? Thank you in advance.

    600 mile service

Spoke to BRP So, I finally did find time to call and speak to BRP about this. Spoke to someone name Jess (sure the spelling is wrong), who was very nice and helpful. She did say that she found this odd, but couldn't comment any further. She took my information and said they will file an...

    Hand guards on RS?

I used those on a scooter when I worked and lived in UK. Not very comfortable, to be honest. I am looking at a handguard set now and will try to make them work on my SE. Will post pics when done.

    600 mile service

Latest and hopefully final from me on this topic.... Just called Xtreme Machines, after calling few places recommended by folks on this thread. Basically the prices I got from others were pretty much what was posted; between 198.00 and 290.00 dollars. When I called the service manager at Xtreme...

    600 mile service

OK, here is the final scoop.... $502.87 and 5 hours and 15 minutes. I honestly have no clue what took this long, but I did get a $9.00 discount because the "computer" accidently charged me twice for some part. Officialy, I am done with Xtreme Machine. Complete lunacy and in my opinion rip...

    Hand guards on RS?

Was wondering if anyone ever tried installing after market hand guards. Was looking at a pair the other day, but was trying to figure out if they would fit. If anyone did that, please let me know. Thanks.

    600 mile service

So, I am waiting for the Xtreme Machine crew to finish the 600 mile service. Looks like it will be $512.00 for the work, which seems a bit excessive in my opinion, but I guess what you gonna do.....

What the Heck is this, & Why is it Not plugged in????

Do all of the models have these or just the RTs? I have a 2012 RS and was wondering why there is no hole in the trunk for the 12v outlet as I saw in some pictures. If it is just a matter of buying the part and then finding this mystical wire to connect, I am all for it.

    My experience with CalSci Windshield

I absolutely agree and second the original post. I ordered my XL 2 weeks ago on Friday, it arrived on Thursday, took 5 minutes to install, it was completely clear and surprisingly clean. I took it for a 60 mile ride on Saturday and at 6'2'' and seating upright, I never once put down the helmet...

Installing Rear Sport Rack and Backrest on RS-S

I installed mine the 2nd week I bought the bike and it was OK. I read somewhere on here before getting into it, that the key thing during the install is patience. Unfortunately, I lack that, so I tried really hard not to lose my cool and yank the whole thing out when I couldn't figure out the...
