• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

USER NAMES/HANDLES - What does yours mean? Where did it come from?

SKYPUP I have loved aviation since I was a kid. I have built and flown 3 ultralight aircraft over the years. One I had plans for back in the 80's but never built was called the SKYPUP.

    Sunday drive

sorry I use to work in Ohio and also lived in Pennsylvania. I am an avid radio control flyer (45 years). When we moved here I asked how many bad days there were and they said maybe 4 or 5.....I couldn't believe it. It really is nice not having to put the bikes away. Did that it the past. The...

    Sunday drive

Worth it The corbin seats are money well spent. They just fit so well and are really comfortable. I experienced the stock seat on a 200 mile ride and the corbin on a 300. I could have kept on going with the corbin. You feel more "planted" on the bike with the corbin and don't shift around in...

    Creep? SE5

Thanks I've got 1400 miles or so. Maybe I'll just wait and see. I wouldn't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with a bad clutch.

    Creep? SE5

How many have experienced creep? The idle appears normal at 1350 but yet the bike will move forward in first if you let off the brake (SE5). It's not a real problem. The bike sometimes does it in stop and go traffic but has done it other times too. It is not jerky or anything when it does this...

    Disc'd by your riding buddies

spyder motorcycle? I have 1400 miles on my new spyder. My wife and I drove 290 miles today. When people are critical and tell me you can't lean I tell them that I've leaned for 43 years and that they can do all of my leaning too! I had a guy stop me today with his goldwing. He is serious about...

What is the right way to shift? Please help!

shifting I have about 1000 miles on my new spyder. We have found (and were told by our dealer) that higher rpm/s result in smoother shifting. If a person gets jerking while shifting it is most likely from shifting at lower rpm's. The unit only allows shifting if the rpm's are deemed adequate...

    Our new machines!

Thanks Spydergirl. It doesn't take very long to spend money on these machines. Having two machines is awesome . We have a Cardo system to keep in touch while riding. My wife usually leads. I use to fly and never got lost but on the ground ...not so good. My wife actually likes to study maps and...

    Tank finish protection

I just added clear contact paper to the tops of our gas tanks. We're both using cortech aftermarket tank bags. Our dealer noticed them and said they have seen tank finishes marred by bouncing and shifting bags over time and suggested the above. This may be old news here but thought I would...
