• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    A busy weekend.

Can you put something on the backside of the bulkhead connector to distrubute the load across a wider area? It shouldn't flex so much if you could. It doesn't look like there is enough threads on the connector to hold anything very thick though. Perhaps bonding something on the backside then...

    Tire pressure

This is along the lines of what I was thinking... I'm not necessarily interested in a full tire inflation, but airing up a low tire or making minor pressure adjustments without hauling another piece of gear other than some coiled hose would be nice if it can be done. Chris :spyder:

    Lost panel? New RT..Carlos Help

If that panel came off when riding, I would bet that the forward hook was not engaged properly. Grommets alone held mine on for about 200 miles much of which was on the freeway at 70 mph. I will post some pictures of correct and incorrect installation so that folks know what to look for. The...

    Scala G4 Review

Another 74 miles yesterday music playing the entire time. Only one up, so no intercom this time. Still on the 1st charge (4/15/2010)...no indicators telling me to charge the battery yet. I should probably add that I have left the G4 on my helmet this entire time in the trunk of the spYder...

More Summer Airflow to the Rider

Does the existing piece need to be made larger or smaller? I'm not sure I am visualizing what you are proposing. Are you talking about something like Baker wings? If so...perhaps an adjustable swivel that attaches to another piece of plexi can be clamped on? Something like a ball-in-socket...

    Lost panel? New RT..Carlos Help

I noticed my R/H side panel was working loose again on the way home today. I looked at it carefully when I got home and saw the hook you are talking about. Getting that thing engaged is a real puzzle. I finally figured out that the plastic piece it hooks on to can be flexed easy enough to...

    Lost panel? New RT..Carlos Help

I am going to try small Velcro tabs along with these grommets on those two small panels. I noticed the right side one was loose when I picked up the bike new from the dealer. Two grommets had been pushed all the way through. I certainly would have lost that one on the freeway. Chris :doorag:

    Scala G4 Review

Another 80 miles today...Intercom was on the entire time. I did not allow either unit to go into standby mode. We listened to the bike's stereo and just used to G4's to talk back and forth to each other. They were on about 2 hours total for this trip. I still have not charged them since I...
