• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recommend any RV parks near Spyders in the Ozarks rally?

We plan to attend the 2024 Spyders in the Ozarks rally and are looking for RV parks in the area. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations? I found one that is close by, but it looks like a large gravel parking lot. Not our first choice.

This does not help the motorcycle community

Some people have a death with and just don't know it. Trouble is, they could care less about anyone else either.

I move so slow in the Cold Winter....

Down here in East Texas I need pontoons and a propeller for the Spyder!

Anyone Put Seafoam in their OIL?

My recommendation would be to just change the oil at the specified intervals and not use any oil additives. I am a retired ASE auto tech and have never been a fan of motor flushes or other oil additives. Certainly would not want to put anything in the Spyder engine that may be harmful to the clutch.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got the FOBO tire monitors on and changed the oil and filter yesterday. Then removed all the tupperware in preperation to install the new Garmin Zumo, NBV highway brackets, saddle bag lights to replace the OEM reflectors, Longhorn mirror light kit, A-arm lights, Spyderpops Ground Effects lights...

Anyone replace the stock antenna on an F3-T or Limited?

I just changed mine out for a stubby antenna. I had to use vise grips to unscrew the stud, and yes, the loctite sure made it tough.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I put a General Altimax RT45 on the rear today. Replaced the original Kenda with 7000 miles on it because the center of the tread was worn exclusively. I am running 18 psi and it seems to ride good. Maybe it’s just my imagination, but I feel like the bike handles better with new tire.

Finally going to get the sprocket recall done. I’m taking my RT to Broadway Powersports in Tyler, Texas on Tuesday. I was starting to wonder if this day would ever come.

7x12 trailer owners - do you have trouble loading? Any fixes?

I have a 7x12 enclosed trailer with a deck height of 17". The rear ramp/door is 6' long and I have no trouble rolling right in the trailer while it is hitched to the motorhome.

Will there be enough room in a 6' x 10' Trailer to tie down an RT?

I have a 7’x12’ enclosed trailer with a V-nose. I think 6’ x 10’ would be awfully tight especially when trying to tie it down. With 7’x12’ I am able to carefully walk around the Spyder without climbing. An added bonus, the V-nose 7’x12’ allows for storage of our riding gear, built in shelves and...

    The physics of bugs

We have been riding in Colorado and Wyoming for the past couple weeks. Each time I clean the windscreen, it looks like there are as many bugs inside as outside.
