• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Where did you start?

Have had only 2 motorcycles before the Spyder. 1982 Honda Ascot FT500 in Monza Red. First time I had ever bought a motorcycle and my first time out popped a long wheelie (not on purpose) and sold it 6 months later. Second one was a Honda 90 trail bike (street legal) and had that about a year...

RAM Mounts - destroyed my iPhone! Any ideas on mounts that won't fail?

I use the Tackform center mounted one and its been great. Tackform even offers veteran discounts which was appreciated. Haven't had to use the rubber protector yet but its on there if I ever find myself in rougher roads. No issues using it with iphone or Android.

What oil do you use on your Spyder?

2023 rumors - anyone heard anything about the 2023 release?

I am guessing no major changes for the next couple of years until they come out with the EV Ryker and eventually come out with the EV Spyder.

Do you think the installation of a thicker swaybar/metal endlinks was worth it ??

Yes, it feels more planted to the road. I had a laser alignment done at the same time. I have about 3k miles on my 21 F3 now. Original tires.

Anyone removed their Engine covers (2021 RTL) & left it exposed? Any downsides?

What heat off the F3? I am an AGATT rider but I could wear shorts/tennis shoes without any heat issues.

Considering a tall windshield. Any suggestions?

Another vote for 7Jurock. I opted to get the 23" so I can look over the windshield and still get some wind. Got the flip style and I am 6'2".

RIP Sonny Barger, a true American icon

He and his daughter lived across the street from my grandparents. I'd play with his daughter when I went to visit them... until I met him. Wasn't too fond of non whites at the time so we stopped being friends. Sad really...

    Scary new European Emission standards

BRP has said it will be producing EV's by 2026 and specifically mentioned the Ryker. I'm sure the Spyder will be coming soon after that.

New Guy on Left Coast - looking at buying a Ryker or maybe Spyder, but which model?

I'd opt for the basic F3 and if your budget allows the F3S. Add ons in this order: BajaRon sway bar and end links, Pedal Commander, auto tires, shocks.

    Electric vehicles and the Grid

I think "conservatives" are not sheep going with the herd and would like the freedom of being able to choose ICE or EV vehicles rather than being forced to choose by way of regulations. In regards to other societal issues, it boggles my mind how a navy vet (retired or otherwise) who took an oath...

    Electric vehicles and the Grid

Toyota had it right with its hybrid model and would have been a bit better pill to swallow than the all EV push.
