• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Taking a trip to windshield-land - what do you recommend?

Yes. I heard the exalto is still around but similar to the first gen silica compounded builds. That would be fun to try, 16 inch might work in that application.

Taking a trip to windshield-land - what do you recommend?

Thank you again to all for the advice. I ordered the 16 inch euro flip from GP Cycleworks in dark smoke gray. My streak of buying from companies whose owners like to get nerdy on the phone about their products is intact. It's a nice benefit of our niche platform, less vendors but passionate...

Which Battery tender works best - OptiMate 3 or the Battery Tender Junior?

I have both, and they both do the job fine for my bikes and other 12V systems, I've even used the Tender solar with a tiny HF panel when dry camping. I'm usually just maintaining the Lithium on my Spyder, I've never had to connect below 11-ish volts, so I'd be curious know how long it took to...

How noticeable is the Engine heat: F3 vs RT?

Agreed. Elka is going to need a stage 8 kit if I don't get more cardio time.

How noticeable is the Engine heat: F3 vs RT?

Well, she does check all those boxes compared to #1. I'm careful with #2, I don't want her to think "cat delete" is code for no more fun for me... Sorry, lame joke!

How noticeable is the Engine heat: F3 vs RT?

This... I never measured temperature before and after, so my data set is my rear end. The cat delete was noticeable, especially at traffic lights... So, slightly cooler, louder, and lost a few pounds with an easy fix. Kinda like wife #2 😉

Taking a trip to windshield-land - what do you recommend?

Those look nice. Online photos from manufacturer aren't giving my old eyes a good idea of what they look like. Lots of Ryker photos though

Taking a trip to windshield-land - what do you recommend?

I once again seek guidance from the wizards of Spyder Lovers. I've lit several incense sticks, dimmed the lights, and I'm listening to Enya... not really. So I'm looking for a windshield obviously, this is for my '24 F3T. I'm 6"2' and (cough, cough) 242.5 lbs -ish. I mostly preferred looking...

Baja Ron sway bar installation completed... finally.

Glad to have this one done finally. I really can't put the change into proper context for those who've never ridden this platform with these bars, but the change is substantial. I've noticed the nanny is far less intrusive with aggressive riding, and not just in the corners. The bike is so much...

Which Battery tender works best - OptiMate 3 or the Battery Tender Junior?

Those are outstanding numbers. My 2024 started to flatten back in May. While replacing I added two more SAE runs from the terminal extender to the frunk and glove box. Never too much!

Which Battery tender works best - OptiMate 3 or the Battery Tender Junior?

I'm not sure if this applies, but if you plan on running lithium make sure it can do AGM and Lithium. I recently sacrificed CCA for AH, and my old battery tender branded unit was unable to get the battery above 13.05. not a big deal, just worth noting.

No Customer accessory circuits on 2026 F3 Ltd? Where/how can I connect accessories?

I just verified on mine to be sure (F3T 2024). It's where they said on mine

    FS: FREE - F3 brake linkage - Position 3

I have a linkage bar, the factory default of position 3. I somehow ended up with a few of these. It's not for sale, trade, or whatever, but if you want it, you can have it. Just message me and if you want to send me a coffee to cover shipping, that's cool too. I'm also going through the tires...

Did an upgrade Sway Bar improve your handling? Which one? And what about Shocks?

I'm thinking maybe we need a 4th of July fairy. If I leave an old part under the workbench a shock shows up the next morning?? The sway bar did have a strange elf on a shelf moment. Every day it seems to reappear closer to the bike... it's a sign for me to get busy!

    Exhaust-ed day

Ha! I agree with your sentiment. Early in my career I worked with a major tire manufacturer and still talk to those folks frequently. When I first bought the Spyder it was funny how some folks (not this site) felt that the Kenda's were specially designed for Can-Am as if they spent hundreds of...

    Exhaust-ed day

Agreed. Even a 60 degree would improve CFM volume by something measurable. I'm usually good at the math work, but not practical application! Ricky and I discussed your solution, and he, like everyone else raved about it. I received quite an education on how the Spyder aftermarket parts market...

    Exhaust-ed day

After overthinking Spyder exhaust options, I finally got the RLS Crusher and cat delete done today (Thank you Ricky!) It looks and sounds better in person than any video I watched and that's saying a lot. Ricky and I didn't get too much other work done today while talking bikes, exhausts, and...

Can-Am Christmas has started! Thanks for the feedback on BajaRon.

Mysterious speaker fail - any ideas/fixes?

Yeah, I did try that. Fortunately it shows the universal mute symbol when activated. I'm thinking this might be a good excuse to update my old helmet system that's getting spotty. Also, if I get my exhaust done this week I'll likely forget about music for a week or two 😉

Mysterious speaker fail - any ideas/fixes?

2024 F3T Well, I can't seem to figure this one out. About a week ago the onboard speakers stopped working. I assumed I left it on the headset mode, but that didn't seem to help. Here's what I've tried so far, but no luck. 1) verified audio out to onboard speakers 2) disabled and removed all...
