• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you pay for your SM6 RT?

:agree: and I think all of us do hunt for the best deal. My point being that if customer A goes and buys a vehicle at dealer X after he did his research, customer B would do his research as well and buy it at dealer B because he knows the owner/salesman/is a long time customer, etc, but each...

What did you pay for your SM6 RT?

The pricing issue is usually a "taboo" topic out of many others, not only on Spyders but pretty much any type of mayor purchases because of the price differences that has to do with location, timing of the purchase, and other factors. Too many members have gone :banghead: for that reason, and I...

    traveling laser alignments

I was out in the Cleveland area doing alignments while Sue Hopper was painting in "Brewfest" (Brewcrew) a few weekends back. I'm in the Memphis area if you feel that you can go down (and maybe stop at Graceland too!;))

    Gas Tank - I'm Confused

With my 2010, I ran it until the tank went dry and cut the engine (twice and not on purpose). On both occasions I remember filling up the tank to 5.9-6 gallons. Not with my 2013. As soon as the light comes on, I am looking for a gas station. Tank usually goes from 4.5 - 5 gallons.

Spare connector under the coolant cap access panel???

I'd go into the fuse box or straight battery. Tampering with any connectors and you can make the computer mad at you (Nanny).

Help Brandnew 2013 RTS... it gets TOOOOO hot after 10 minutes riding

Love my 2013! I have ridden it on 100+ weather and I feel the same heat I have had in previous years and other bikes. I use Amsoil for my oil, have wrapped the manifold, gotten rid of the cat and OEM exhaust but for performance improvement, and notice an improvement in the heat, but it is...

    clutch

I had an SM5 2010 in which the plates burned at 3200 miles. I had to open a case with BRP and 5 weeks later I had the clutch rebuilt at their expense. The dealer said they still ate some of the costs as well (towing since my breakdown happened on a Sunday and the dealer was closed Monday, so...

    question on hot tubs

Might be because it would require a lot of work. I know I had a electrician friend that came over, added a new fuse, wired and terminated a new 220V plug exclusively for the hot tub for less than $200.

Now's the time to buy a 622 trailer!

You can, but depends on who installs it. The OEM trailer hitch fits, but the wiring harness won't plug so you would need to tap into the wires directly.

    question on hot tubs

We had a nice 7 person hot tub when we lived in Texas and we got it at cost. It sat outside on a deck we built exclusively for it, and since we lived in the corner of our subdivision, we had plenty of privacy. We truly enjoyed our hot tub, particularly during the winter nights. Had to let it...

    problem with 2012 RT sm5

:agree: If your computer is rebooting but the engine is not trying to turn, you have a weak battery. And the trickle charger will not do anything if the battery is bad. Also, since you have an SM5, try engaging the clutch while starting, even if it is in Neutral. Maybe the dash would tell you...
