• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Goodbye solo riding - it's been good ta know ya. Ordering an F3S!

I rode two wheels for nearly 60 years and said I would never go to 3 wheels. But in April I was in an accident with my two wheeler and being 76 years old I had to make my mind up and eat crow. I purchased a 2011 Can Am RT-S SE5 which I really like even though I can't keep it running. The old...

    RT rescued from graveyard

I am beyond impressed with your knowledge. What I would suggest is for you to move to the US. South Carollina would be perfect. Our little community is an hour from Charlotte NC and we could keep you busy. Thanks for sharing your experience with us even though most of this is way over my...

Dead battery - Thanks to all who helped; I made it Home!

I had a situation last Thursday night. My wife and I went on a dinner ride with another couple. When I arrived home I came in at a different angle than usual and had to reverse and get straight so I could get in garage. Everything was great until I tried to shift to first but after fiddling...

Have Forum postings slowed down ???

You also have some old farts like myself who enjoy looking at the site but don't have a lot to share. Being new to the spyder world I do enjoy reading about different things. I have noticed that as a whole everyone is polite even when a newbie like myself asks a really dumb question. I have a...

What Forms are needed - Obtaining a Replacement/Lost title?

You could always move to South Carolina. A tag is not required for the smaller trailers. It would be a lot less complicated than dealing with California.:doorag:

Any Freedom windshield users? Are they wider than OEM?

I had a Freedom windshield on my HD before I entered the Can Am World. Love the shield and I think it was a little wider. The quality was great.

Hello group - Here is my new to me 2011 RT!

Welcome from South Carolina! I own a twin sister to your Can Am (a red 2011 RT-S). With that low mileage it must have been in a coma.

Do I really need to replace the DESS & ignition for key replacement.- 2014 RT-S?

I got a blank key from Ebay for $25.00. Talked to Redline at Myrtle Beach and said they could program it for $60.00 - $80.00. Most any Hardware store can cut the key. So it appears it will cost me $100.00 +/- plus a ride to the beach. Good luck. I have one key and if I keep putting this...

Can I increase the Oil Change Interval with Amsol Oil?

I understand and agree with you. I am not trying to be cheap but I am about 2 hours away to get an oil change. But I can live with 5000 miles. Thanks for all the responses.

Can I increase the Oil Change Interval with Amsol Oil?

I usually do around 8K, but I might do more now on the 3 wheeler. I think I will try to stretch it out to about 5000-5500 for oil change which would help.
