• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Transmission Failures??

    transmission trouble My 2008 SM5 with 30,000 miles is in the shop and they found a broken ball bearing on the oil drain plug. They have the engine and case split and found the clutch shaft bearing had failed. Twice the transmisson would not upshift and then the technican had a noise in fifth gear.

    Sturgis What rides have you done? I did Devils Tower, Iron mountain, Needles highway, Custer State park, Spearfish Canyon, Vanocker Canyon last week before they were so busy. Try the Bubba burger at the Sugar Shack. The Stone House saloon between Belle Fourche and Devels Tower is a nice stop also.

    4 Cyclelists Killed

    I29 It may not have been drugs or alcohol. The ride across South Dakota can be very warn and monotous so it may have been that they were not at their most alert state. I did the I90 from Sturgis and I29 to Sioux City Friday and it is over 500 miles, so if they had not rested it is very dangerous.

    2011 site Banff or Jasper. No big city traffic and great riding. Black Hills of South Dakota have some good rides also. I like the one suggestion of having camping available.
