• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Brake pedal position?

Yes F3S brake pedal is to high with BRP foot-boards installed Let me know how much you cut off F3S brake rod to lower brake pedal closer to BRP boards. I tried sliding BRP foot-boards on # 4 pos up to #5 pos but that was too far & brakes would not work that close to foot-boards. So brake rod...

    The new 2016 RT?

Why not a 2016-2017 Spyder RT with a F3 type top fill gas tank Hi Lamont, It would be a shame if BRP Spyder engineers ignore the fact that majority of Spyder RT owners/riders want a top fill F3 type gas tank. I would think BRP engineers could fit a F3 gas tank on 2016 Spyder RT by removing...

UpGrade to the 2014 from 2013

2014 RT engine break in hints This is the method I have used for every motorcycle & the 3 Spyder RT's I have owned. The key seems to be roll on throttle, then let engine decompression slow you down, during 1st 100+ miles or so. Engine decompression is what seems to seat oil rings properly. All...

    Bajaron shock adjuster update

Hi Ron, Eibach 400# springs is what comes on 2014 Spyder RT Elka front shocks, 3/8" preload on 10" long springs. I wonder if these stronger Eibach 400# springs would work with your preload adjusters for stock 2013/2014 front shocks with less preload? I see Stan has 5 turns preload on stock 2014...

    Tire hell sorry

Hi, (I met you at Lamonster BBQ but don't remember your 1st name). Sounds like 7" rim is for a 225-50-15 tire. (maybe because the stock Kenda rear tire does not have a 4 ply tread is why it balloons a little in center at speed). They put a 205-55-15 rear Kumho Solis on RT at BBQ, explaining...

    Tire hell sorry

Your 215-60-15 Hydroedge rear tire is narrower than stock 225-50-15 rear tire; so should perform well. My 2014 RT breaks loose rear Kumho tire with 6,000 miles on, but I think it is my aggressive throttle hand on taking off, ha. I see there are 12+ available 215-60-15 tire choices from discount...

    Tire hell sorry

Hi Bob, My next rear tire for 2014 RT-S will be a Yokohama S. Drive 205-55-15. It is same size diameter as stock rear tire, 3/4" narrower tread. That size there are several real good rear tire choices. The 205-55-15 tire was highly recommended by one of the top Spyder dealers. He explained the...
