• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How I Spent My Summer Vacation

If you post the dates and locations you might find some local riders that would like to meet up to ride some of the route with you.

I've quoted two of your posts because it occurred to me that they contradict each other. You say you configured your phone to stop charging at 80%, something that Google confirmed is an option, but of which I wasn't aware. And after your ride the phone was at exactly 80%. So the USB port...

I added a docking station to my 2024 Spyder RT S2S from Spyder Extras. It is wired into the accessory power port on the right front side of the Spyder. It worked well for use with a Garmin Zumo XT GPS before CAN-AM got Apple CarPlay working. Now I ride with a QuadLock mount and QuadLock iPhone...

Nice for those that have 2026's, but not so much for the rest of is. And yes, I'll continue to be an Apple Carplay user.

The Ski-Doo GPS module does not use your cell phone to track the other riders in your group. https://ski-doo-shop.brp.com/us/en/ski-doo-gps-module-with-group-ride-860202990.html On that BRP page it says: I also found this: Notice the "Create & Join" part? You have to invite someone to...

Google says the Garmin Zumo 665 was released in January 2010, so I'm not too surprised that Garmin is no longer providing updates. The way to get it working again is to sell it on eBay and use the money to help pay for the newest Garmin motorcycle GPS, the Garmin XT3.

A quick check with Google says that the BRP GO! app allows you to invite other people to a ride you plan, which might require they are also on CAN-AMs using BRP-GO/BRP Connect.

Interesting, as it does say that fits a very long list of Canyon, F3, and RT models starting in 2024. But I haven't been able to find any information about how to use it on CAN-AM 3-wheelers. There is a CAN-AM site that talks about using it in the Off Road Vehicles (ORV)...

There was a previous discussion about the BRP plug-in GPS module, but the information on the BRP site was pretty specific that it was for SkiDoo models, not CAN-AM 3-wheelers. All of the BRP/CAN-AM information I've found about the GPS capabilities of CAN-AM 3-wheelers are either Apple Carplay...

New Spyder Sea to Sky and Trailering - will I be able to tie my Spyder down properly?

I found a website that sells 68mm replacement emblems that fit CAN-AM Spyders (and CAN-AM Renegades, apparently). https://maineventemblems.com/products/custom-can-am%C2%AE-renegade%C2%AE-and-spyder%C2%AE-emblems-68mm The description says: Color options, too. No Empire emblem, but they have...

When I bought my Spyder CAN-AM was still trying to get Apple Carplay to work correctly. Once they released the software update, I immediately downloaded and installed it on my Spyder using my home WiFi network. And then the issues started. I am an Apple FanBoy, and had an iPhone SE at the...

Are there any new computer Updates for the 2024 Spyders?

I think the v5.1.0 update is the most recent, although I haven't checked recently. https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/spyder-10-25-display-models-firmware-v-5-1-0-android-and-iphone-brp-go-connection-for-maps.166910/

Are there any decent Sun covers for when Spyders are parked?

Several companies make a "half cover" or "travel cover" for the Spyder that covers everything from the top case to the windshield, and down to the bottom of the seat, but not the lower portion of the bike.

WTB: Looking to buy floorboards for 2011 RTS

I am skeptical that someone has a set of spare floorboards sitting around that they're willing to part with. Either they bought them to install on a bike and haven't done it yet, or they installed them and they're on the bike.

WTB: Looking to buy floorboards for 2011 RTS

Google found a couple. The first one lists the RT-S as a model they fit. https://www.lamonstergarage.com/rivco-driver-floorboards-for-can-am-spyder-rt-2010-2019/ This one says it fits any 2010-2019 Spyder with foot pegs, but doesn't list specific models...
