• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any suggestions on running Gravel and dirt roads on a Spyder?

They're not designed to operate in those conditions (dirt and gravel roads). As far as scraping goes, I have a F3S and haven't encountered a situation that my F3s cannot navigate. There are lots and lots of ways to approach an obstacle that will cause this, so you have to be aware of that and...

How many States require a Motorcycle Endorsement for Spyders?

I never worry about it. I've kept my motorcycle endorsement active since 1972. That's even though I was in the military for 20 years and had quite a few drivers license changes. Took the AMA Motorcycle safety course in 1986 on my Yamaha XS 750 Triple. TN considers Spyders as motorcycles, so you...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Broke the 10,000 mile mark yesterday on my ride after 18 months. It's been an anvil as far as reliability goes, and it's always a pleasure to ride. I think I'll take it out and give it a nice drink of 93 octane 100% gas.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I first ran a couple of errands this morning maybe 35 miles, when I dropped off the supplies at home the wx was great, so I got some heavier gloves and rode up Tn Hwy 421 "The Snake". Tested out the new rotors and pads after bedding them in yesterday. 421 was crazy today, and up on top it was...

Just wondering - is the stock muffler on my 2022 F3S made by Akrapovič?

I'm wondering if the stock muffler (secondary) on my 2022 F3S is made by Akrapovič? The end caps looks similar to other Akrapovič mufflers. I was watching a Japanese video of someone doing a cat delete on a 1330 F3S and his stock muffler looks exactly like mine, but it had an Akrapovič badge on...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I hear you. I've actually lowered my temp threshold down to 40° for a short ride to clear the mind, but if it's 46° or so I'll ride. Warm gear helps. For me the heated gloves is what made the difference. Once my hands start stinging it ain't fun anymore.

Anywhere to get an F3-T Alignment in the middle of TN area? Or any other effective alignment method?

Not in middle TN, but East Tennessee ATV in Elizabethton TN does laser alignments, and 2 weeks ago I asked how much it would cost. They charge $130.00. 270 miles might be a tad to far for ya.

My First Spyder - F3S. But the brakes need a really hard push, is this normal?

Glad you got the brakes working. Learning how to ride the Spyder can be quite exciting. I learned how it handled by taking it out each day on the twisty's and pushing it a little harder each day until I felt comfortable on it. It takes some time and some miles, but once you feel confident it'll...

My First Spyder - F3S. But the brakes need a really hard push, is this normal?

Sometimes when I'm braking my foot will only be on the edge of the brake pedal, and there have been times when the way I have my foot on the brake pedal and Floorboard limits the brake pedal travel. I have to really press down hard. Usually, I remember to move my boot further in to allow for the...
