• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Like anything else. Ride for the conditions and you'll not have a problem. Some here prefer one tire over another in wet conditions. Personally, I let the conditions dictate how I ride.

    As to removing the thermostat? Haven't seen that done since the Ford 60's & 85's. Motors from many moon ago, that ran dual water pumps and overheated like crazy. Likely a good thing they didn't have the WEB back then. Lots of unhappy folks. I will say, FORD in '54 with their new Y Block...

    Heated grips are keyed power on my 2011. Doubt anything has changed because they'd suck a battery dry lickety split.

    I recall this problem being reported long ago. The finding then was water penetration in the paddle shifter unit. Not saying this is the problem here, but it has happened in the past.

    Don't think I said it would. The codes thrown will be in BUDS history. After he has pulled the trouble code it clears so he will not see it again, unless or until the problem repeats itself or a different code is thrown. At least, that has been my experience........ Though, i'm not getting any...
