• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Hawaii

No dealers in the state, but there are Spyders here. I'm on Kauai and own an F3 and believe, although I haven't seen it, there's another Spyder here but don't know model or year as I haven't seen it on the road yet. There are also a couple on Oahu from what I've heard. I was a Nissan Sr. Tech...

    Dressing for the weather

It's the Rubba Slipas that really blow my mind when I see riders wearing them here. We've all seen pictures of the de-gloved foot...

We Spyder owners do love our lights!

Looks great! Any trouble with the fitment of the new grill with the bump skid?

    Dressing for the weather

I'm the wrong person to be answering your question, but I have 2 cents left, so here it is... Well, if I lacked common sense, I'd wear a t-shirt, shorts and slippers like many do here. nojoke I love my BRP Cruise jacket, even if it's hot and I sweat, I feel somewhat protected. I have yet to...

    Slowly Starting

Didn't know the Akrapovic for the RT would fit the F3. How much modification was required, if any? Looks nice BTW.

So how high was your snow....

I can always go to the snow if I want to. I choose not to do so, don't like the white stuff too much. http://www.hawaiiinfoguide.com/hawaii_skiing.htm

    Couldn't stand it any more!!

Oh so true. I find myself needing a dose of wind therapy just about every day. I'm working in Waikoloa on the Big Island all this week and I'm actually having withdrawal symptoms being away from the F3 for so long. Friday, please hurry up and get here!!!

    Big City Thunder Baffle

Aloha Lamont, The OP mentions a sleeve in one his posts. Does the baffle you offer include the sleeve? From looking at the photo, it looks like the baffle OD is smaller than the pipes. ID. Mahalo!

    Helmet Problems

My wife has large ears and they fold when she removes her helmet. She got so frustrated at one point during our trip last year, she ripped the helmet off and broke the cartilage in her left ear. No joke, it sounded like a pencil snapping. I need to find something for her soon before she refuses...

CONSENSUS HERE WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Pretty much the same situation for me. Test drove an RT Aug of 2014 in OR and purchased an RTL same year in Oct. Mrs. and I picked up the RTL in TX in May of last year and went on a 3500 mile trip to DC and Niagara Falls, then back to Springfield, MO. I hadn't owned or driven a MC for 20+...

    Gas Mileage?

Only 30 mpg here. Pretty much stock, SE6, nothing special. I live on an island in the middle of the Pacific with an area of only 562.3 square miles. My fun meter is always pegged. enough said. nojoke

    Horn Replacement

I installed the Stebel in my F3 and adding the relay took very little time. Definitely worth the piece of mind of protecting the horn switch. I chose to mount the horn directly to the frame. There are holes in the frame in the perfect locations for the horn and the relay. And the right tie rod...

    Not a happy camper!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and well wishes. The pain isn't too bad now since I have a high tolerance for pain and a little help from my friends Vicodin and Valium but the occasional spasm is a killer. As for Your question regarding dealers on Kauai latony007, there are none. I've got 15...

    Not a happy camper!

It's a little bit overcast but otherwise a beautiful day on the island of Kaua'i. I'd be playing hooky from work and heading up to Waimea Canyon, however, I injured my back and had to go to the ER yesterday. I'm not feeling too much pain at the moment other than the occasional back spasm but...

Be careful and get what you pay for

Having had worked in automotive flat rate shops or 15 years I can tell you a flat rate shop is the devils workshop. If here's a shortcut to be exploited, it will be. It's very unfortunate.
