• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    On my 2013 I zipped tied the latch open. My Spyder is kept garaged, so I see no reason to have my seat locked. ;)

    Totally happy with my 2013 I bought used, does not even have a radio, could care less about all that audio Crap owners are always have issues with. I'm old school. The sounds of the open road is all I need. :p

    Losing a bit of faith in Can Am - enjoy the riding, but not the endless waiting while they find parts and fix all the niggling issues!

    I know on my 2013 Spyder, if the brake pedal is not fully up, then cruise won't work, and the switch can be real fussy, it may need adjusting. I need to check mine for sensitivity.

    So I decided to upgrade the front brakes with EBC Rotors and EBC Brake pads. Wish I would have just left it alone, now it has a pulsing surging feeling when slowing down as in a warped rotor more so with slight brake pressure VS hard stopping, it does stop great but not smooth. So much for...

    May be old news to some, but the 2024/25 starting procedure doesn't need you to wait for the display safety stuff...

    I can sympathize with those whose Spyders are sitting waiting for parts. I ordered the left side Switch Housing for my 2013 to have when and if it gives me issues, especially the shift button, which usually takes two pushes to go into neutral. It is finally shipping, 7 months after I ordered it. o_O
