• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are these Brake pad "liners" called and where can we order new ones?

Just was at the Brembo website; only thing available for spyders are brake pads, not rotors, calipers or anything else . But perhaps I'm not a good searcher Al in Kazoo

2023 RT - What do you guys get for miles between Brake Pad Replacements?

I'm harder on my brakes than my wife is. We put 15-20K a year on the bikes rattling around back roads. I've found it is just easier and cheaper to replace the brake pads all the way around every year than to try and guess when I'm going to need pads before I score the rotors. Pads are so much...

Wasted my $$ on Cardo Packtalk Bold - just wanted decent sounding Music, but it sounds like ****!

Have just updated from Pack talk bold to Pro, the increase to 45mm speakers does improve the sound quality bur they are all pricey. Al in Kazoo

Wish I had not gone with a Vredestien Tire

I'm on my third set of Vredestiens, run 16psi all the way around on both my wife's RT and my F3-T, currently @ 21,000 miles on my rear and 4/32's of tread left. Just starting to have hydroplaning problems. Will be replacing both rears within the month. I've used other car tires previously and...

Why is my Tire pressure so low?!

Yes there's a reason it went out the door like that; your stealership is more concerned about their profits then they are the quality of their product. Find a new dealer, this is a fore teller of things to come with this dealership. Al in Kazoo

Frustrations - side case won't open; now the latch/lever is broken! I hope it won't take too long for dealer to fix!!

This is a known problem with the 2021 RT's; during building BRP was unable to get stainless steel cables and latching mechanisms so they substituted non stainless steel cables, which rust and cause the latch handles to break when trying to open the saddle bags. The fix is to order new cables X...

Any time limit on changing HCM filter during oil change? Is a 10 y/o filter good for a few more years?

Well, if it were me, I'd change it! Have you changed the antifreeze, the fluid in the brakes, the air filter? This is an "old" bike and with the limited mileage that you and your spouse do on it yearly, I would do all the PM that should have been done for two, three, and five year intervals...

2021 RT Ltd Torn rear brake caliper piston dust seal - can this seal be easily replaced? Where can I get a replacement?

The last I knew, Brembo does NOT offer caliper rebuild kits. This could be "old" info; if so, my apologies in advance. Al in Kazoo

RTS 2015 won’t start after installing new gauges/dash unit - any ideas?

You need to charge your battery, or better yet get it load tested before charging. 11.92 volts is not enough to spin a Spyder up!! Al in Kazoo

Bright Headlights Daytime Yes or No

Always brights; hooked into a headlight modulator. I get flashed a lot, I just give them a thumbs up!! Had a state trooper pull me over and tell me my headlights were strobing, politely explained that they were being modulated not strobed and were legal in all 50 states and Canada. Went back...

Any ideas on what this intermittent check engine light might mean?

Hum, knock sensor. Yes I too am guilty of not paying for 91 octane fuel. And yes PMK, my normal riding style is cruising the back roads at 45-55 MPH. I thank you all for your thoughts. Confirmed my thoughts that if it clears spontaneously and leaves no traces via codes a continued benign...
