• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you experienced any Road rage incidents?

Yes there are, and where do these people come from? Years of entitlement coupled with a lack of respect? But they sure get cut down to size when they hear, "Press hard, please, there's three copies", or "Turn around, please, and put your hands behind your back."

Any suggestions on a good riding camera - need one, after a road rage incident!

The chest mount is good. So you pretty much get everything you see. The INNOVV helmet cam easily attaches and comes off the helmet because of a small attachment bracket. It doesn't interfere with flip-up face guards or shields. I hope to be able to use the INNOVV camera in my truck as a dash cam...

Have you experienced any Road rage incidents?

Years ago, when riding one of my many 2 wheelers I nearly became deeply involved in a "road rage incident". Long story short, I was highly enraged, and after I calmed down and could "see clearly," my outlook as a motorcyclist had to change. The offending cage driver truly did not see me. I was...

Need a Tire Changer in Florida - any help? Recommendations?

You might consider getting a trailer for your spyder, they're very handy when you need one. Good luck.

    My Jump Port installation

No harm, no foul. A quality OEM battery should last 5 to 7 years. I got 6 out of mine when it showed its first sign of weakness. I also have the Harbor Freight jump pack that fits perfectly in the bottom of my trunk. I take it out, test it, and charge it once a year. I also have AAA Premium...

A different take on HD logo on stuff!

Yeah, ain't that the truth? What do you think they're really looking for?

A different take on HD logo on stuff!

Yep, I've still got my HD rain suit and the boot covers to go with it. I only wore it once on the Spyder, and it was raining so hard I don't think anyone could see it. It was one of those rain storms where you find a taillight, just stick with it, and hope it stays on the road.

Is anyone running these Bright yellow lights as headlights or foglights?

LOL, I've got a T2T badge covering my front BRP roundel. It fits perfectly, and the wise a$$'s at the shop put a Yamaha sticker on my trunk, so I guess I'm had going both directions.

Will changing out the front shocks help prevent lifting one front wheel in tight corners?

JMHO, but I'd cease this style of riding, particularly with your wife on board. Removing tire contact with the road is the beginning of the loss of control. And the answer to your question is "possibly," but not likely if you keep pressing it.

Is anyone running these Bright yellow lights as headlights or foglights?

Yeah, at $600+I guess they are expensive, but I've already got fog lights and I want (hope) to convert those to yellow driving lights. I've never had my fog lights out, so I don't know at this time if I should install yellow bulbs or craft a yellow replacement lens. Thanks for the referral.

Is anyone running these Bright yellow lights as headlights or foglights?

I've replaced my OEM headlight bulbs (several times), but I've never been into my fog lights. I'm considering replacing my fog lights with yellow LED bulbs. Has anybody put LED bulbs on their fog lights? Any problems with fitting or getting hot and melting? I plan on having them on all the time...

My Motohorn died on me this weekend

"I immediately got so pissed I just yanked the whole thing off my F3 and threw it in the trash, then reconnected the stock horn." Yep, me too! I'm done with it. It was my second aftermarket horn on my RT, and I'm done with these things. It worked great before I installed it, but after two...

My search for the perfect oil funnel? What's yours?

Ron's funnel, I believe, is for filling the radiator reservoir. The best way to get a funnel is to borrow one and not return it. LOL Forget I said that.

Is anyone running these Bright yellow lights as headlights or foglights?

Is anyone running these seemingly new, very bright yellow headlights or foglights? Been passing a few lately, and they are very eye catching. I've not seen any cars/pickups running them, only motorcycles. Mostly, they are on sport touring bikes. Something new I've never seen before.

Fitted EBC Rotors and Pads, now it has a pulsing feeling when slowing down under a light pedal!

There's a heat'm up, cool'm down procedure to unwarp warped rotors if that's your problem. Take a rotor off and lay it on a piece of glass to see if it's warped. It should contact the glass all the way around with no gaps showing. Good luck. A dial indicator could be used without removing a...

Any suggestions for creative use/mods/add-ons for the dashboard gauge plugs?

I replaced one of mine with a USB/volt meter and the other with a cigarette lighter socket. I also installed a double USB/volt meter rocker switch in the vacant location just below the center of the handlebars. In addition to that, I installed a battery tender lead directly off the battery and...

You can never have too many funnels.

Looks like it's time to give up the ride - thoughts fm others who've faced this?

NO! Life is not over yet. Keep your Spyder. You and your wife still have a lot of good miles left in both of you.

How long will the drive belt last?

100K+, then just keep a close eye on it for any changes that may begin to appear. Anything that would differentiate from a new belt. I'd purchase a new belt at 100K and keep it on hand just because. Belts are easy to swap out.

What switch fits the extra rocker switch slot on 2024's?

Whatever the switch is called, be very careful when cutting out the hole to install it. It's very easy to make the hole too large, leaving the switch difficult to use. Don't ask me how I know that.
