• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Centramatic Rear Balancer Question

"This moves the sensor ring closer to the sensor. " It will also move the sensor ring with relation to the sensor ifyou swapped spacers or bearings and then ...you are right It would be good to check the clearances, Pre & Post centramatic install, but I doubt Lamonster would put out the...

    Centramatic Rear Balancer Question

Since the centraMatic disk is behind the disk and sensor ring, its relation to the caliper arm and the sensor which is mounted on the arm is still Okay... It just moves the wheel to the left slightly in the swingarm as I see it... There is room in the swingarm for this slight add of the...

Installing Your Own Wheel Bearings- Are We Doing it Wrong?

Makes sense and great detail and diagrams to show how the bearings come to rest with the inner race on the spacer... I do have a set of replacement bearings on the shelf, but so far haven't had to replace any with 76, 44, 50, and 45,000 on the 3 RTs and F3 that we have owned so far. Now...

Cleaning Under the Front Lip of the Frunk Cover?

Maybe if you post a pic of where you're trying to clean it will all become clear. The Frunk Lip is accessible when you open the lid... to clean around the grille area, just remove the 4 torque screws and watch for any loose spring clips and then you can use your detailing tools, fluids and...

    Oil: time or mileage?

I would run until this winter and change before I put it up, unless I reach the suggested Oil Change interval miles... JMO

F3T squeal noise under load wheeling around or turning a corner?

Thanks ddjim, I did dump the cushdrive segments out and didnt see much in the way of grit or damage, just a few black specks but I didnt think of a little silicon grease. Might try it next time...

    Tucson to Deadwood Question

Rob, I'm not a big fan of the traffic on I-25 from Colorado Springs north to Cheyenne and prefer to ride the state routes when we can. You mentioned you were trailering, but speed limits are 60-65 for the most part through Colorado and Nebraska and we rode your alternate route with four...

What's the Best no clunk oil?

I too cringe at the first clunk of the ride after starting my RT. While it is the "nature of the beast" I occasionally can avoid the WHAM by hitting the shift paddle within the first 1/2 second of the motor firing off...I don't know what isnt up to speed yet, but just a tweak to try...

F3T squeal noise under load wheeling around or turning a corner?

Squealing noise under load from F3T Our 2016 F3T has been a very dependable ride with few issues, but we have a sporadic squeal that sometimes occurs under load like accelerating through a turn in first or second gear. It seems to happen after the bike has been ridden a few miles, and...

    FOBO = Major shaking

Like 2 Dogs said the FOBOs shouldnt cause the shake. Since your bike was setting all winter, I bet the tires had a little flat spot issues for awhile... then when you rode it a bit the tires smoothed out...took the FOBOs off and now its good.. just a wild a-- guess, but sell the FOBOs if...

    Lamonster Frame Mount Drink Holder

I dont remember any issues with mounting the side mount drink holder on the 16 F3T. It is much more stable now on the frame and easy to access. With the IPS frame caps it looks and works good!:2thumbs:

Ride on, should I?... Which formula and dosage?

Had about 6 oz of RIDEON in my front Kenda when I had a puncture...It didnt seal by itself, but after I added the mushroom plug from my StopnGo kit it held with no leaks for another 5000 miles or so. I plan to just carry the mushroom plug kit and use Lamonsters centramatic balancers to balance.

My Vredestein vs Kenda Rambligns- Part II

Physics always works if you can quantify the inputs and measure the resulting changes including all energy. The rear wheel will always build more heat and therefore pressure than the front tires due to the input of Mechanical Energy of the engine driving the wheel. The 4 psi "rule of thumb"...

    Spyder Idiosyncrasies.

I agree it takes a bit more to become comfortable with the variety of road conditions, crown, ruts etc than with the gyroscopic motion of two wheels tracking a single path. For me it helped to have many miles on gravel roads with a variety of conveyances from bicycles, to wore out tractors to...

    Good Battery on a Budget!!!!

Hopefully you have a good shop and they properly condition new batteries like Idaho said. I think your battery on the 12 model is a little bit of a chore to get to...I trusted our shop to change it out. Either way, I would put the charger on a new battery for a 1-2 amp charge like Idaho...

    Brake pads

Like CPTJam described, and before I push and rotate, with the old pads out I like to clean the caliper a bit with a pan and papers below, I spray with Simplegreen, Purple Power, soapy water, windex or whatever and use a small brush, old toothbrush to dab and scrub some of the gunk loose around...
