• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any fun ideas for back roads traveling?

When we are traveling the back roads we always run into small and interesting towns and we like to site see. My wife started this new thing, when ever we see an old Court House we stop and she takes a photo of it. When we get home she looks them up on Wikipedia and prints her photos and some...

Treadwear on rear tire of 2014 RT ...what's expected life?

I am about to hit 3000 miles, 90% 2 up riding with wife, tire pressure at 28psi, and 55lbs on rear suspension. So far I have seen almost no wear. If I wash the bike the tire still looks brand new. :ohyea:

437 miles this weekend. Great weather, great route with some fun stops. Warren Hot Dog Shoppe, Pike Island Locks and Dam in Wheeling, quaint little town of Bridgeville PA with some great hilly rides, historic Route 40 from WV to Columbus, and more. We stayed off the beaten path for as much...

You can have the carpet idea, and I am borrowing your LED perimeter idea. I really like that. LOL Do you have a link or store name where you got your light strips? Thanks.

    My $445 Trailer Build

I took some of the best information from around the forums (here & elsewhere) and decided to try my hand at building a reliable trailer for our Spyder. The build started on Saturday and I finished this afternoon. I have been working on it a few hours each day as I get the supplies. When we...

Spyder Camping season is here .

I am curious how much your camper trailers weigh, and how you are keeping the tow weight below the Spyder's capacity. I would love to do this but the weights I have seen for the campers look like it would never work.

    Samsung Adapter ?????

I also opted for the cheap iPod touch (less than $50 used). It's velcro'd into the trunk. Set it and forget it. After riding I can just pull into the garage and it connects to my home wifi automatically and does it's sync stuff remotely without intervention. It takes a couple dozen minutes...

    Rt-S vs RT Limited

It's a personal choice. I don't care for the chrome and I really like the clean "basic" look of the basic model. With what I have planned it will work very well with the final design. I was able to get both the bluetooth package and brp hitch included w/ tax and title for less than they were...

    Ohio Rt 62 North tomorrow.

Great times. Saturday, the trip up was full of tourists heading in and out of Berlin and Millersburg. Sunday, the trip home was full of bikes and trikes & we saw quite a few fellow Spyder riders out enjoying the weather. This will be a trip we repeat many times in the future. There are lots...

    switch panel inserts

It's been awhile since this thread was updated, but I have been emailing Colin monthly and he has been providing updates from his development team. Today I received an email that they have a working prototype for the water proof USB rocker panel insert. Shortly there should be a new USB...

    Ohio Rt 62 North tomorrow.

A few weeks ago I did Ohio Rt 62 South From Columbus to Kentucky. Tomorrow we are doing Ohio Rt 62 North from Columbus to Pennsylvania. Should be a fun ride, I see quite a few twist and turns along the way through Amish country. Has anyone else done this route before? Thanks.

FOBO-Bike TPMS system on a Spyder

Very good news, thanks again for doing all the work. I forgot about the trailer. I intend on having a trailer for the RT by June so looks like I would want 6 sensors. The way I understood Bluetooth communication, the device randomly chooses from 79 available "channels" to communicate. It...

FOBO-Bike TPMS system on a Spyder

Thanks for checking, and doing all the leg work. The product looks really nice. I am budgeting for a set of 4 for my Spyder, the quad configuration would work just fine provided the 4th one supports the pressure test.
