• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    622 trailer tongue stand

Agree it is pricey. I found one on Ebay for $90 so I bit the bullet - no tax and free shipping as well. One thing I learned once I installed it, lousy and any kind of grade (like my drive way). I need to find something I can attache to bottom that will act as a cushion/gripping the pavement...

    Riding boots

The Chippewa boots are fantastic. Bought them when I had my road glide. Easy on and off. Warm and dry. Made in America. Other pair I use is the SWAT boot. Both are great for walking when you get to a rally.

    Vented Windshield

Madstad makes a great product. I had their windshield on my previous Road Glide. Once you got it dialed in, almost all buffeting (big issue on Roadglides) is gone. They aren't cheap, but believe they also do money back guarantee. As to using on a Spyder, on my RT, with adjustable wind...

    665 garmin for 660 cradle

Glad it worked out. Other nice thing is you get a functional 660 harness if you decide to sell the 660 that came with the spyder. Enjoy your extended riding season - ride safe. Here in Michigan - we're pretty much done.

    Garmin 665 on 2014 RT-Limited

I had similar situation when I moved my 665 from my Road Glide to my 2014 RT Limited. I was getting error message and noXM functionality. After checking on some Garmin forums, learned it was an actual difference between the 660 and 665 cradle and harness and I would have to buy and install a...

    Stugis 2015

I'm no Sturgis expert but have been twice (2010 & 2013) on my Roadglide. Though Harley is primary sponsor, all kinds of rides (including cars/trucks). Generally it seems no one cares what you ride. Most are just there for the event and local riding. I'm going in 2015 as well - this time on...
