• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder Owners Event Maggie Valley

Asked Ultimate Seats the same question. Their only suggestion was to take the back rest out and stow it or jam a wedge in it to make it more difficult. In my opinion, all I can do is stow it.

    Spyder Owners Event Maggie Valley

Update Ordered the replacement back rest without the Spyder embroidered emblem. Hopefully this will make it less attractive for the next thief. It is a real downer though, because we really liked the one we had and we only left it on and in the upright position so others could enjoy seeing...

    Spyder Owners Event Maggie Valley

We have had our Spyder RT Limited for almost a year, and this was our first serious excursion. Even though we live in North Carolina, it was the first time we have been able to travel an stay away for a few days because my wife just retired. As far as the event, it was almost perfect. Met a...

    Trailer Recall

Got a call from my dealer yesterday about a recall on the wiring in my 622 trailer. I have not received anything from BRP but they said it is important that I get it repaired before the Maggie Valley trip. So I am taking it to the shop Monday afternoon and they told me it would only take about...

How much oil do you use?

added oil to me RT-SE5 at about the same milage. Have not had to add any oil since, even after the 4800 mile oil change. So for what ever reason this seems to be normal until it is broken in or we learn to drive it.

Travel Route Suggestions for Maggie Valley

Blue Ridge parkway is a great ride. However, due to budget cuts, many of the gift shops and picnic areas are closed this year. Plus you will need to get off the parkway for food and fuel. Just thought you might need this information.

    Looking to add Highway pegs

I have installed Lamonts highway pegs with the heat block off plate on the right side. It was easy to do and the adjustability should give you plenty of range for your height. I preferred these over other pegs because they mount to the frame and not to the engine so you do not get the...

Securing jacket and helmet when stopped

We put both helmets in the frank by putting one in up-side-down and meshing the other into the first right-side-up and put our jackets in the side compartments. Works good for us.

    New Spyder Ryder

I met a new Spyder Ryder tonight on my way home from a restaurant. He has a new white Spyder RT and was buying his first tank of gas. I do not know if he is on Spyderlovers or not, but I want to welcome him to the Spyder family and I hope he has many miles of happy riding.

    First ride

I know the title sounds misleading, but we took or Spyder out for a couple hour ride on Monday. It was the first time in three months we had it on the rode due to major surgery. It was the best time I've had since I put it on jack stands. We also tried out the new Baharon sway bar, Lamont...

    NC Helmet law...

I guess that if you ride without a helmet you would have to attach your blue tooth device to your ear lobe so you can still talk on the phone while riding.:gaah:

    On the road again

Just got back from the doctors office and he told me I could start riding the Spyder again. It has been on jack stands for about 2 1/2 months. It will be on the ground again Easter Sunday after my son and I add a few mods. My wife and I can't wait to be back in the saddle again. We will be...
