• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    How To Do It

I'm just trying to get the Year, Model & color of my spyder to stay down at the bottom permanently. So I don't have to type it out everytime I post. As you can tell I'm not to clever with this stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

MPH and RPMs for shifting into gears

I'm very new to the RTS-SE5, but have observed a couple of things about the spyder engine. The 998cc engine makes 100 HP @ 7,500 RPM & Maximum Torque of 80 FT. LBS. @ 5000 RPM. I believe these numbers are net readings measured at the crank. It is my opinion that the optimum shift point should be...

    Too tall for the Spyder?

I'm only 6' 0" tall and just got a RTS-SE5 spyder. Right off I noticed the front seat has a lump protruding 1" - 2" forward into my lower back. For my comfort I'll have to get the lump protrusion removed and reshap this area of the seat rearward at a 45 degree angle. This seems the more...

    New 2012 RTS-SE5 Owner questions?

Thanks for the fast responses and help guys. I accept that the analog fuel guage is not accurate and will just use the Trip A meter at 125 to 150 miles and fill up as others do. I read the manual wrong and thought the side cases and top case were suppose to lock. By turning the key counter...

    New 2012 RTS-SE5 Owner questions?

Drove the new spyder home 25 miles from the Dealer. The analog fuel gauge was reading full when I left the Dealer. But was reading half a tank on the gauge at my house. Appears to be a useless device. :yikes: Tried to lock side & top cases with the ignition key. But the key only turns clockwise...
