• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FYI Quick Access Body Panel Kit.

This doesn't sound very professional coming from BRP.

    RT Vibration continues

When you say a small amount, do you mean for like 300 to 400 rpm range? Or a small amount like a 1,000 rpm range?

    RT Vibration continues

I have a 2012 RT SE5, I thought the motor mount shimming issues was fixed for the 2012's? My belt starts really flopping badly at 5300 rpm and doesn't quit this severe flopping until after 6200 rpm. I just can't stand feeling this belt flopping so badly. When I know this is a major issue and...

    RT Vibration continues

It would be nice if BRP resolved this drive belt vibration issue once and for all with the Spyder RT. Then they could get the word out to all the Dealers for a correct fix. I have been riding my Spyder RT below 5,000 rpm and 70 mph. I'm trying to stay out of the severe drive belt...

    RT Vibration continues

I get the belt flapping vibration in 3rd, 4th & 5th gears. I try to accelerate through it as quickly as possible shifting through the gears. I would like to cruise at 75 mph at times in 5th gear. But that is a bad vibration speed for me. My RT starts the belt vibration at 5300 rpm and doesn't...

    RT Vibration continues

I've got to believe everyone riding the RT has the same belt vibration issues and at the same rpms. If everybody has the belt set to factory specifications. I know that I do and I try to get through the vibration zones as quickly as possible. There should be a pulley assembly mounted inside the...

    Gas Guage Problem.

Those markings are pretty close but with my analog fuel gauge. When my fuel gauge reaches the bottom of the widest part of empty. I have about 1 1/2 gallons left in the tank. Good job for taking the time to mark off the fuel gauge.

    87 Octane fuel

I was wondering if I'm the only RT rider using the 87 octane fuel? I've tried 93,91,89 & 87 octane fuels. To me the Spyder RT runs best on 87 octane and gets a more complete fuel burn. Its very flat here and no mountains and at sea level mostly. I've never noticed any engine ping or knock using...

Picked up my new oil change access panel and grill

I'm going in for my 600 mile service tomorrow July 25th. I don't have a voucher yet to show the Dealer. But I did mention the new panel to them and they looked at me, like I was crazy. They said all we know about is the new longer OE5 oil filter. So make room in the boat for me.:dontknow:

Question oil flow thru RT SE transmission

Any idea why my new RTS-SE5 with only 429 break in miles. Is getting more difficult to shift into neutral from 1st gear? It seems worse when the engine is at normal operating temperature. I was wondering if everyone tends to use the full synthetic engine oil in the RTS with the SE5 semi...

Gas Mileage for the first 1500 miles

I'm still breaking in my new RTS-SE5 with about 275 miles on the odameter. I'm using 91-93 octane fuel at fill ups. My average is 27.5 mpg and thats keeping the rpms below 6,000 revolutions. I sure do hope my mileage increases to at least 30 mpg someday.
