• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK, bought the original last night from Custom Dynamics at US$215 plus international UPS freight charges... :yikes: Next question is: Should I remove my O2 Modifier and reinstall the original O2 sensor...? Thanks and regards, Pilo

    2 borthers juice box?

Tried everything..., and still... My 2009 SE5 Spyder has a Hindle installed, and a KewlMetal air-box. Liked the sound of the Hindle, and after many other home-made arrangements, I finally got rid of the oil-in-the airbox-syndrome using the KewlMetal air arrangement. I was NOT looking for...

Installed a Scorpio SR-i800 security system

Need pics Mole: I bought the same system, and it looks like I installed it like you did with yours. I am not quite satisfied about its functioning, but your pictures will be a great help to make it work correctly. I installed the perimeter sensor under the "Y" tupperware, on the center...

    Alarms

Need you advise on location of components and its installation. I bought the same system and temporarily installed the main console under the brake fluid reservoirs, on top of their hoses. Ran the cables to the battery, the proximity sensor to the center upper frame member (under the "Y"...

    o2 modifier install

Two months went by... After a couple of months following installation, I cannot see any noticeably difference. In fact the pre-ignition hiccups and exhaust backfiring are still there. I just wonder if when I secured it under the seat with a tie-wrap I might have overtightened the wrap and...

My Hindle badge finally fell off my Hindle. Other victims able to get a replacement?

Mine too (almost...) After reading these posts yesterday, I went to check my Hindle's badge, and although it was still on the muffler, it was coming loose by all sides. I just pulled it out before it got lost. Question: What king of glue can I use to attach it back to its place? Thinking...

A thread about a Spyder that really did overheat... your thoughts please...

Here is a video of the KM installation: Make sure you cover / stuff the throttle bodies' "mouths" with clean rags, just in case something drops in there while you are at it (Murphy lives...). :( Whatever tool you need (can't remember what did I use) to unscrew / unbolt the old airbox and...

A thread about a Spyder that really did overheat... your thoughts please...

I have the KewlMetal one, which I installed to get rid of the oil blow-by in the airbox, and also to gain access to the front spark-plug and upper engine area. Additionally, it comes with a reusable round K&N filter element. No problem or smoking by having the oil going into the throttle...

    Oil Change

Not sure if available in Venezuela; like I said, it is getting a royal pain to find imported motorcycle oils here. Again, my intention in this thread is to find out about using much "thicker" oils in this hot weather, instead of 5W-40´s. Thanks, Pilo

    Oil Change

Oils for hot weather Here in Venezuela is getting difficult to find imported motorcycle oils. I have been always worried about using 5W-40 oils, as per BRP specs, in my 2009 SE5 in this weather. Temperatures around here are in the 90-100° F year round, with peaks of 110°F or more in August...
