• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2nd Gen. D.P.S. I'm with you Dewey,I think I'm gonna lay low for a while and wait until I've seen some Spyders with more than a few hundred miles on the clock before I make the switch. Probably cant get mine to the dealership for a while anyway.

    ride-on

Ride-On I put a stiffer sway-bar on my Spyder and was getting a lot of tire bounce from 58m.p.h. to 68m.p.h. Local shops would not balance my front tires so I went with the Ride-On with no wheel weights. Problem solved and I like the added puncture resistance.

    Sypder's Handling

Tight corners Don't expect to do any real hard acceleration out of a tight corner, the nanny system just wont allow it. I used to race three-wheelers back in the eighties and I still have a Kawasaki Tecate so I know how to hang off but the Spyder will just go into stutter mode until the...

    Blow-by ?

Blow-By The first time I noticed the oil seepage it was on the black panel that groundeffect described. I thought that it was anti-freeze leaking because it was also on top of the radiator. I started replacing hose clamps until I found the answer here on this forum.

    Y pipe gasket replacement

Honda Gasket Just picked one of the Honda gaskets up last week and it cost me less than five dollars including tax. It is a much better gasket than the stock one. Managed to install it by loosening the cannister bolt and both Y-pipe clamps and pivoting it all down. Just be careful when you do...
