• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New Spyder SPX Exhaust System

looks like a Venom Looks like the stainless steel muffler that was marketed under the brand name of 'Venom' - which is what I have on my spyder. IMHO it looks good, has a great sound and the best feature is that it's easy to clean using a Scotch-Brite pad or buffing disc.

    Steering sticks

Thanks for the input Scotty. I'll be a happy spyder ryder if in fact the tire pressure created the problem and by lowering it the problem is solved. There are a lot of posts on this forum about DPS problems and I have become gun-shy. Going forward from here I'll closely monitor tire pressure and...

    Steering sticks

front tire air pressure Question - In what way would the diameter and rotation speed of a front tire impact the VSS? IMHO -the front tires free-wheel and are rotating at different speeds when traveling in any direction other than a straight line. The tighter the curve the greater the...

I've been considering the air-shock system from Kwelmetal to address the over weight problem I have when riding 2 up with the saddlebags stuffed . Before I spend the big bucks - can anyone who has installed one give me some feedback - please. __________________

Question – Will my warranty become invalid if I replace the front OEM tires with 185 - 60 -14 size tires? Will larger tires have an effect on the DPS?

Passing it on- Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) Update

DPS REPORTED Sorry to hear of your incident, glad there were not more severe consequences. It's unfortunate that BRP STILL won't be proactive about the DPS issues, after all, they publicly acknowledged the problem a year ago.........Why do Spyder riders still need to be placed in a dangerous...

    Non-Touring Spyder?

I do a lot of solo riding but also tour with the wife. I like having the option to outfit my spyder to accommodate both situations. When solo riding I remove the BRP saddlebags and install the mono-cover over the rear Corbin seat.

    Back rest

Yes - I purchased the bags on line from ttp://aerotich.com. At the local Ace store I found rolls of nylon strapping and snaps and I made custom length straps. I strapped the first bag to the back rest and the second bag to both the the back rest and first bag. The bags are made with cinch straps...
