• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

$133 for a replacement key?!? WTF

I was talking to a guy who repossess cars and trucks and he said that the banks would get an extra copy of the key in case they ever have to reposess the vehicle. Does anyone know if that is true? If true, there could be another avenue for a key.

Well I got the spyder back 1400 miles ago and I was riding my spyder when it started losing power. It seemed like it was hesitating before that happened. I thought it might bad gas, but I had put the gas in from the usual place 60 miles before. There had been no problems with gas and I topped it...

I also have a set of the earfuze. One thing to remember is be careful when taking your helmet off and make sure that that you don't grab the wires. (ask me how I know).

Guess who needs a new front sprocket?

I just got mine back after 19,000 miles with a replacement of the shaft and the sprocket. $2250 for the repairs. (not covered by extended warranty/Western Services) I was at a shop and when I showed them the parts, an off hand suggestion to consider; inspect the sprocket more often as it is...

    Extended Warranty and Dealer Responsibilities

This question deals with the extended warranty. Do CAN AM dealers have a legal responsibility to offer a BRP warranty? In dealing with my broken spyder I was talking to the original dealer San Luis Motorsports and his response and attitude was that BRP warranty was just competition with other...

Cost of Dealer Repairs?? Warranty vs Owner

As I wait for the issue of determining whether the sprocket is going to be covered under the extended warranty or not, my question is if it is not covered under warranty, is there a difference between the cost of warranty repairs and when it is coming out of your own pocket. I have been told...
